i never understood this phrase, does it mean just keep a closer eye on your enemies? or be nicer to your enemies with the intention of gaining and abusing their trust?

It just goes to show that everything is relative. In Doom, it seemed perfectly normal that no mater which direction I was looking at a dead monster his legs were spread open and facing my direction.
I remember the good old days (1996?) when I downloaded and ran 'e', and it took 60% of my CPU just to display the background pic of a big flaming reflective marble
The more distros the better to some extent. The ones that suck fall into disarray and become extinct , and the ones with real substance are cloned and copied and emulated in the others. Diversity is a strength. Microsoft is like a mutual fund. You trust them completely and year after year you get a less than average (for the market as a whole) return.
I think Old Dirty said it best: "Diversify your portfolio niggah"
" interviews with ballmer have him saying things like "sony will win japan, we plan on winning europe and america"... "And then we're going to Washington, DC, to take back the White House. YAAARRR!"
My problem is that first gen titles for a "next gen" system are generally not very good, and I don't want to play extra for the chance to play titles that are mainly focused on eye candy rather than playability.
Look how long it took for Donkey Kong Country to come out on the SNES... it just takes developers a long time to learn to exploit every available resource in a new arch.
This article has really made me see the light. It is full of unwaivering logic and factual critique of the Linux OS. I am now switching to OpenBSD. In fact, I will now be switching the entire Datacenter to run OpenBSD, and find a picture of De Rat to use as my desktop background.
Thank you Forbes magazine, once again you proved to mold and shape the direction of my life.
"My son was only 26 when he died. He was sleeping when Qiu broke into his home. He was barely able to put his pants on before Qiu stabbed him," said his father, Zhu Huimin.

They might!

"Even camera-phones are tremendously underwhelming to all but tech-nerds and 14-year-old girls."
They are tremendously awesome when POINTED AT 14-year-old girls, though
"The team that produced Super Mario 3 consisted of over 10 people and they worked over a 2 year span".
Maybe if design teams these days consisted of "over 10 people", there would be better games!
Any ideas who could possibly take on this murderously challenging role?
Anthony Hopkins?
