Sweet! Now YouTube gets to catch shit for censoring someone merely recording in public, while there are a jillion videos on their site with far more harassment, bullying, and threats.
A firearm by definition requires some sort of explosion. We could solve a lot of these problems by moving on to alternative projectile weapon technologies such as the coil gun, more commonly, and incorrectly, called the rail gun.
Then watch as the government tries to outlaw electricity.
I vote we simply let people use their phones as much as they want while driving, and let natural selection take care of those that do it unsafely.
Dunno about you guys, but I do use my phone while driving, but do so in a responsible manner. I have it in a mount on my dash so I can use it for GPS navigation, MP3/music playing to my stereo, and hands-free calling. Worst-case scenario, I might shoot a quick text to someone while stopped at a light.
I'm honestly more distracted if there is another person in the car, or if I'm eating/drinking while driving, but I have yet to hear anyone tell me I can't do any of those while behind the wheel.
Aren't there all kinds of cheap 1080p projectors on the market? I got one from Costco a few years ago for about $900. Use it to play Xbox mostly, but somehow it's still working on the original bulb, and is still plenty bright when projecting onto a 9 foot wide screen.
A projector is often smaller than a monitor, and your screen size is only limited by your available wall dimensions.
I don't understand the sudden uproar about 3D printers. Machinists have been able to make their own custom weapons for a very long time now, but I don't see anyone wanting to regulate the sale of metal lathes, welders, or milling machines.
Also, when was the last time a "terrorist" used a gun? The Mass Media, who are the foremost experts on the subject, tell us that terrorists prefer the efficiency of targeting groups of people, and that usually necessitates exploding a bomb or crashing a vehicle. And from what we've seen of these 3D guns, you'd be lucky to kill a handful of people with one.
Just take apart your Xbox controller, remove the Force Feedback motors, attach their wires to metal pads on the controller surface where your hand touches it. Then give it to your friend to try.:D
The Operation Flashpoint / ArmA series started doing this about 12 years ago using a system called FADE. If the game detected an illegitimate disc, rather than just kicking you out or throwing an error message, it would would screw with you. Over time, it would reduce the accuracy of your weapon, randomly switch your controls around, and eventually turn you into a bird.
Very cleverly done, in my opinion, because a crack designer would have a helluva time testing his work. He couldn't just boot up the game and see if it functioned, he would have to spend hours and hours playing to see if the game would wig out. And it wouldn't always do it, either.
I had several friends who pirated the game and started playing, only for FADE to eventually kick in. By that time they'd gotten hooked on the game, and were inspired to go out and buy a legit copy. Mission accomplished, developers!
Considering how small and simple guns are, would it be that hard to simply disassemble it and remove the fancy gadgetry attached to the safety catch, or just file it down?
Watched the TF2 video, didn't once see him jump or strafe. And looked like he had a hard time aiming straight down. If anything, looks like this will make things more difficult, sadly.
Also, if I have to run as fast as the Scout does when playing that class, gonna have a heart attack.
I've had this same problem with women. One day you can get to second or even third base, then suddenly you're sent scrambling for first again. Wasn't sure how to score that either, but as long as you're still in the game, it's a win, right?;)
Quick! Someone edit the Bugs Bunny GIF so that instead it's a giant snail gnawing through their northern border and sending them off into the ocean! Cause this might actually be a realistic scenario! Hurrah!

I'm a die-hard techie, but it's shit like this that seriously makes me consider unplugging myself from the Internet and phone services.
Guess I'd better give Richard Stallman a call and see if he'll let me crash at his house for a while.

And now off to 4chan to see if anyone has found copies of the leaked pics.
Sounds like a great way to practice your paintball skills.
If only it'd been Steve Ballmer...

Can I fuck it?

I found an MP3 of this song, but it didn't have the artist listed on it. That means I can keep it without paying for it, right?

Can't Corner the Tsarnaev just doesn't have the same ring to it.
I wonder if Crest wanted their money back after EA caused SimCity to be the biggest flop of the year.
What if someone makes a cellular bomb that detonates if it loses its signal to the tower?
They're now reporting a third incident at the JFK Library, which has erupted into a fire.

What're they gonna do? Sue me from beyond the grave?
If only this would have been Half Life 3...
I wish I were rich only so I could pay less taxes than I do now and fuck over the government, who I hate.
