Just use a better browser, like Opera. The "1" and "2" keys switch to the next or previous tab, and right click + scroll wheel (or Ctrl+tab) gives a scrollable list of tabs with previews. Of course you can also hide the address bar and just use the F2 input window to type in address.
There were no stability and battery life issues with WM that would require gutting the mature platform and replacing it with the useless piece of shit that is WP7.
I'm not sure what the method in TFA does since I didn't read it, but this isn't cold fusion.
Watermarking has been available for a while, even as a standard Photoshop filter. Just for a test, I applied the Digimarc watermark to a 18MP shot of my dog, and then resized it to 40% of the original size. The result? The watermark could be still read, albeit with a lower indicated watermark strength. Likewise, resaving it multiple times as a JPEG just slightly decreases the strength. If you aren't an idiot and don't start win a huge DSLR photo, it should be fine down to the common web sizes.
Of course if somebody knows about it and deliberately tries to destroy the watermark, I'm sure it won't be a huge problem. Like by applying a healthy dose of Gaussian blur.
They can, of course. But from what I've seen on, say, ISO Hunt, real torrents usually don't have any comments at all, while fake ones get negative comments. So unless the fakers can delete existing comments, they're pretty reliable.
How about if you're carrying a briefcase, laptop bag, or groceries in one hand? Or if you're holding another phone to your ear and need to look something up on the smartphone. Or (if you're poor I guess) when you're holding on to the handrail in a bus? Even Android is pretty bad at this compared to my WM phone, anything worse than that would be unacceptable for me, and I only have to use public transport a handful of times per year.
Of course it all depends on how anal you are about defining "need". You don't actually need to own a mobile phone either, once you get down to it.
It looks like you're talking about other color film, like Ektachrome or something. Those are still being manufactured and anyone can develop it, even if it's more difficult than B&W for amateurs. Kodachrome uses a significantly different and much more complicated process which requires different equipment, knowledge, and chemicals. I don't really know what the exact procedure is, and probably very few people do. Up to this point there was only a handful of labs in the world that could actually develop this film. You can read more on wikipedia.
Oh look kinds, a self-important professor! College is nothing like real work, so whether they show up to sit through your boring lectures or not has little impact on anything. I only skipped classes if I was sick (and I don't mean drunk/hungover) or there was a really good reason for it. And guess what, many of the lectures I attended were a waste of time, and I could've learned as much or more just by reading the fucking book during that time.
Now I have a real job, and there are no issues with my punctuality, absenteeism, professional conduct, or performance. I do occasionally show up at 10 and come in dressed in a t-shirt, but then we have flexible working hours and a lax dress code.
Ski masks could be illegal because then the cops won't be able to prove who was driving the car when it's photographed by a speed camera or something. I don't know for sure though. In any case, I don't think wearing a balaclava inside the car is all that necessary since there won't be any wind blowing in your face, which helps a lot when it's cold.
Whether or not you (or I) like something should have no impact on legality. I'm sure Steve Jobs also doesn't like when we make fun of his ridiculous turtleneck outfit and his RDF abilities either.
Also he was good in Three Kings (awesome movie by the way, see it). He was so good in fact, the thought "oh look there's a rapper in my movie" never came up while watching it.
>So I am afraid the government will clean up the area put down carpeting and ropes and make it museum instead of place you have wander around
Come on, this is the Ukrainian government we're talking about here. Even if they do put down some carpeting, all the rusty nails they'll use to hold it down will be more dangerous than what's already there.
You're acting as a dangerous rolling roadblock if you go significantly slower than the rest of the traffic. It is much safer, as well as easier/less stressful, to go with the traffic flow.
To answer the original question, the speed limit is 130km/h (81mph) in many European countries, where the Volt's Opel clone will be sold.
This is not how it works. If you are driving > 70mph AND the batteries are below x%, the ICE will run and directly send power to the wheels. If the batteries are fully charged, you'd be on electric all the way to whatever the top speed is, which is 100MPH IIRC. This makes sense since the ICE is running anyway, it is more efficient to directly power the wheels than to first charge the batteries and then power the electric motors.

Have you considered that maybe he just really likes rape? Nothing wrong with that.

All the serious Apple users are already well stretched there, so I don't think that would be a problem either :D

Ok, so what's the downside to your scenario?
Hey, don't knock it till you try it!

How is it any different from any other party slashdotters are used to attending?
From what I've heard, you can also pour alcohol in your asshole, to great effect.
But first, you perfect your skills in Dope Wars...
Which is why they made a superior video sharing service and won over the people this way instead of buying out the biggest competitor. Oh wait.

In other words, it was an act of nature, and we'll never fully understand it?

Ehm, but you can show it? You just can't sell it, but if they're interested you could wait 18 month and sell it to them if Amazon doesn't buy it.
To fuck with the minerals, does it have ELECTROLYTES?
You're making an unsupported assumption here in that giving up $20 DVD players is somehow needed for the great good. Care to elaborate on this?
