Don't get me wrong, I'm not a racing fanboy or anything, but I understand it is pretty physically demanding pulling three or four G's sitting behind a rather hot engine on a 120 degree track for 500 miles.
Just my thoughts:
BF1942 is a nice game and all, but it's hardly top 10 FPS material. Also, if you ask me, any top ten list without Deus Ex, and both System Shock 1 and 2 is tripe. But that's just me.
I guess that's why I weigh 120lbs, haven't been in a verbal fight as long as I can remember much less a physical one, and have nothing beyond a single speeding ticket...
In come the consoles to ruin another PC game. Don't get me wrong, I love my consoles, but for the love of God, make console games or make PC games, when you make one for both you hobble it.
Is it just me, or does this conjure up images of them all sitting around a big table with one speaking: "Gentlemen, our first task is to find a way to kill superma... er... Nintendo."
I may well be tarred and feathered for saying this, but I happen to enjoy Star Wars Galaxies. I've been playing since launch and I still have a blast with it, and I know a number of people who have been as well. This seems to be just another case of the people who dislike the game being especially vocal, while those who like it are too busy playing to respond. Now if you'll excuse me, it's time for a few stormtroopers to meet the business end of my flamethrower.
Both are correct, firefighters light backfires to stop the fire from going down a particular path, but they also do controlled burns to eliminate the fuel in an area as another way of controlling where it can spread. That being said, is anyone else suprised that we've yet to get modded offtopic?
...is simultaneous development for multiple platforms. Here's a perfect example. You simplify a game so it can be played with a gamepad, and you screw over people who have all the capabilities of a mouse and keyboard. It's sad.
This has struck me as borderline insane for quite some time. In fact, it doesn't just apply to products, but even signs. If you put up a sign in Quebec, it has to be in French; and if it has both French and English, the French has to be at least twice the size of the English. It's pretty messed up, I mean, you don't see us getting mad 'cause the game boxes and signs in EB aren't in l33t.
Well actually, if you want to get technical(and you know we all do, this being/.) if you got rid of the Army you'd be getting rid of Special Forces. The term "Special Forces" is actually a very specific one, refering to Army special operations forces. The correct term for SEALs and other elite units like them is "special operations forces."
Not long ago I had an ich for my old DOS games, so I just set back up my old Packard Bell that's sitting across the room. Oh it's so very sweet...
Now if someone can just post how to make a $14 MG-42 I can throw together a $28 Aliens smart-gun.

... I guess this is good enough for the weekly "nintendo is dying" fix. I guess I can get back to my life now, and maybe some Metroid Prime.
Heh, this thing's "forged" in more ways than one...
So who's ready for a unified arrow system in Thief 3?

Obviously you haven't seen the new Marine camo yet... Can you say "Waffen SS"?
System Shock 2. Best. Game. Ever.
...That's nice and all, but if I can't play games on 'em, what's the point?

Now video games and gamers can finally get the respect they deserve from mainstream culture. Oh, wait...
Is it just me, or does this conjure up images of them all sitting around a big table with one speaking: "Gentlemen, our first task is to find a way to kill superma... er... Nintendo."
Well yes, you make good points, however I was simply saying that I and many others still enjoy the game, and isn't that what it's all about?

I was worried that we might be overdue for a "nintendo is dead/dying" article.
You're living in the wrong state, friend. She's legal in mine...

A pilot friend of mine was telling me that a joke ammong pilots is "I can't fly for crap anymore, but I can type 60 words per minute."

...just what Mohammed Saeed al-Sahaf is up to. Looks like the ex-iraqi information minister is working for the nokia PR departemnt.
