no regular Core 2 Duo (or quad for that matter) is dual-socket capable. You would need the server version (Xeon) to be able to do that. But you do pose an interesting theory.
with that much GPU power, the CPU becomes a non-issue. Seriously, once you get to like 1600x1200 and higher, or even 1280x1024, it's all about your video card(s), and framerates are no longer determined by your CPU, as long as you have a reasonably high end cpu (which this system will no doubt have).
the real problem is that the button is positioned too close to the screen, and therefore can not be pushed squarely down!
also, what about the problem with when you are playing and the disk randomly ejects and goes flying across the room? Sony seems a little silent on this one, unless it is an unsubstantiated internet rumor like most of this stuff usually is.
My uncle was taking some 'cognitive enhancement' medication http://www.iherb.com/cogni.html, Cogniflex, recommended by his girlfriend. He stopped taking it because, well, he forgot to take it.
Where the hell is the US version of Mother 1+2 (Earthbound "Zero" and Earthbound for you non-fanatics) for GBA?? There's demand for it like anything, and Japan's already got it, so what's the problem?? Also, a port of Chrono Trigger would be awesome.
well said. with the worst DRM ever implemented in a downloadable audio file, I just don't see any advantages to WMA, including sound quality. AAC sounds SOO much better because Dolby Labs actually know what they're doing.
I, for one, am *shocked*!

FYI, Kentsfield has 64 bit instructions, and therefore is 64 bit capable. Please stop spouting this "AMD is the only pure 64 bit processor" garbage.
why the heck isn't this modded funny? does nobody realize it's a monty python quote? how incredibly pathetic.

You must be new here. *ducks*
be a surprise??
will it be 64 bit?
It's coming from MTV, therefore it *must* be true.
actually it's spelled "Sacramento".
and this is why all the mp3 player manufacturers are going out of their way to offer hardware support for AAC? can you name even ONE??
Microsoft takes a loss on every console sold, so even if he wasn't supporting the software companies, Microsoft still lost money.
Once again, Luigi gets the shaft.

I can't wait for that di.fm trance internet radio station on iTunes to come blaring out my 5.1 Yamaha system!
Even if it's current, it's still a PC. You still have to deal with all the hassles of running Windows.
run faster than yours. but they have a heatsink.
