Yeah, scare-mongering over mercury is pretty common. I remember when I was a kid I used to break open those little glass-tubes from old thermostats and collect the mercury. Safe? Eh, probably not, but I'm still alive and I don't have mercury poisoning.
I remember back in 7th grade (about 1992) my physical sciences teacher had us stick our fingers in a beaker of mercury. I turned out all right.
Wash your jacket (if you wore one, and never wear flannel to a protest rally), shoes, hat, backpack, etc, too, while you're at it.. and also consider that only a small fraction of the population would even understand what the heck RFID is or does, much less knowing to look for a 'flea'.
I'm suprised nobody has mentioned lamp life yet. It's a pricy part and has a short life.
2. Video projectors have a very limited bulb life. In other words, if you are watching TV on your video projector about 3-4 hours every night, you would have to replace the light source bulb about once a year at 200-400 dollars a pop.
This is slashdot. We build our own projectors with bulbs that cost around $30 a piece and can last thousands of hours. Or we drop $500 on a projector that is prebuilt and does the the same thing with the same bulbs.
But I want my 1997 cellphone back. The earpiece was actually at my ear, and the mouthpiece was actually at my mouth, more or less. It had buttons that a full grown man could actually press one at a time. It made calls. It worked if you dropped it.
How about ThinkGeek's Bluetooth Retro Handset? That should fix two of problems.:-) I can't help you with larger buttons, though i suppose that Jitterbug Wireless service would fit the bill.
And King Kong was unwatchably, laughably bad. Is a Director judged on their latter movies? Because if they are, I wouldn't want Jackson to do The Hobbit.
What about early works? Meet the Feebles was EPIC!
Lastly, Nintendo and Xbox sold roughly the same units worldwide, yet the Gamecube had no DVD player functionality, yet the Xbox did... so how do we explain the nearly equal installed base? It's the games...
The Xbox didn't have DVD player functionality at the time of purchase. You had to buy a remote and remote receiver to play the DVDs.
So in otherwords....... Its better to zigzag instead of going in a Straight line even if a trained enemy can get around the ziging and zagging as it gives you a perfect excuse if things go wrong. That excuse being "Well i ZigZaged just like i was supposed to, don't blame me".:-)
Most arsenic enters water supplies either from natural deposits in the earth or from industrial and agricultural pollution. Arsenic is a natural element of the earth's crust. It is used in industry and agriculture, and for other purposes. It also is a byproduct of copper smelting, mining and coal burning. U.S. industries release thousands of pounds of arsenic into the environment every year."
7 - price 8 - size 9 - power requirements 10 - no Kodachrome or T-max 3200
In response to 1-7, i bought my Pentax ist DL for $420 shipped (of course i already had glass from my film camera) 8 - Pentax SLRs are smaller sized 9 - rechargeable NiMH batteris work fine in the camera. (and external A/C connectors are available) 10 - thats why you keep your film camera on hand in addition to your DSLR (oh, you can shoot @ 3200 iso with *ist line of DSLRs)
You act surprised. You shouldn't be, sometimes the priority of one party is just to be against whatever the otherside wants. Regardless of whether or not they have a common goal. It's called "partisan politics" and it's been ruining the country for over 200 years.
Honestly I'd rather have a government where nothing gets done for four years rather than knee jerk reactions to every new event.
You release albums as individual cartridges for portable players... it gives you a tactile "thing" with a label, contains mp3's in a generic format, is in a durable case.
Look you you insensitive clod, last time i got to drink from the firehose... bad things happpend. Stop giving me flashbacks.
I remember back in 7th grade (about 1992) my physical sciences teacher had us stick our fingers in a beaker of mercury. I turned out all right.
You can get it developed in the US at Dwaynes photo as well. (they also process Kodachrome movie film)
Right here: 433
Heck with that. I'm waiting for Version X(10): Randy Raccoon
Thats the first think i thought about as well. Here is a chart that shows some of them.
Didn't you read the article? Keyboards are being implanted in the penis for male users.
I didn't RTFA, but will i be able to plug my digital music player into these and have the colors change to the beat?
I'm sure most of Slashdot can help with half of this.
The Solution to most of your problems: Nudity
So in other words, Blu-ray is...erm Fucked.
Sooo, no need to type one handed like the rest of us.

ummmm perhaps it was there naturally? From http://www.nrdc.org/water/drinking/qarsenic.asp:

How about selling iRivers to young adults @ Circuit City. ;-)
in otherwords, hire Mr.(Ms. ?) tgatliff (311583) NOW
Damn right! Its a creature feature.
Honestly I'd rather have a government where nothing gets done for four years rather than knee jerk reactions to every new event.
A pefect excuse to buy the Koenigsegg CCX. 13.8/18.1(city/hwy) mpg of pure enviroment saving, gas sipping usage. Børk Børk Børk!
So in other words, a mp3 playing Pocket Rocker.
