This was already on digg several hours ago. Why doesn't Taco just write some code to steal all of his stories from digg? I bet Slashdot would be much more up to speed with the rest of the Internets if he did.
...do the electronics they're donating run Linux? Or, at least do they run embedded Linux?
Think about it, folks; we're saving childrens' lives here. Shouldn't we avoid starting them down the primrose path to Microsoft? Of course; saving childrens' lives isn't enough. We should also be saving their souls.
That, in a nutshell, is the reason why Linux sucks. Everyone codes things themselves and you eventually get four hundred versions of the same software which people have coded themselves, none of which are interoperable or compatible.
Me? I just tell people to use Windows or Mac OS X. Much simpler (and more powerful, too).
God, you GNU hippies piss me off. RMS is a moron; without him, Linux would already be on 99% of the systems in the world. Why don't you go suck his GNU/Dick or something? He'd probably like it, fucking Asperger's moron.
Not everything is about God, Mr. ALMAFUERTE. Can you prove He doesn't exist? No. Can you prove He does exist? No. What's the harm in someone believing, then? It sounds just like Santa Claus, to me.
It's the same with Windows, really. If someone is competent they should be able to be safe on whatever their chosen platform is, be it Windows, Linux, Mac or something else. Even if not, since you're so awesome in your computing prowess, mopping up a mess from a few Windows worms ought to be cake for you. I mean, c'mon......honestly, though, I've done things on Windows and on Mac OS X that would take you years to figure out on Linux. Why don't you just cool down a bit? Thanks.
Congress passed the DMCA a long while back (a few years now, IIRC). It's obviously withstood the test of time; if there was something illegal about it, the Supreme Court would have already overturned it. So, I don't see where anyone can complain. Obviously the only people who have problems with it are the software/movie pirates, and piracy is bad, right?
We should all just try to get along with the DMCA instead of constantly badmouthing it. It's obviously a valuable and appropriate used piece of legislation.

So, remember to use Linux this holiday season.
Shut the fuck up!
The sky is falling! NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
I didn't know Kathleen was in orbit outside of Pluto.
Seriously folks, that girl is fucking HUGE.
God Bless the USA! Yay Capitalism!
I'll have to code the damn thing myself.

Jerry asked Kramer if he knew what writing things off was. George wasn't even in the conversation.

I bet RMS will need to change his maxi pad after this one.
Google ADDED THREE PAGES TO THEIR INDEX TODAY! Hooray! Let's make it a front page story! Sweet!
Wouldn't it be more appropriate for this to be frosty piss?
...because GTK apps on Windows are ugly?
The correct spelling is semenal.
...use a different operating system.
All of these are attributes of Ubuntu.
I have an idea. How about you Libranet fanboys name one thing that Libranet can do that Ubuntu can't.
C'mon. I'm waiting.
The DMCA really is a good thing.
