Not bloody likely. More like every Sony (and only Sony) device that plugs into the wall and isn't a PC, and requires massive processor power- that is to say you won't find video cameras and DVD players "Powered by CELL(TM)" (unless it integrates a PS3).
it could cost them their company.
Ummm...no it won't, Sony is freakin huge (they have departments that sue their other departments) and a single failed chip will not sink the company.
looking past then next 2 years of development, and really looking 10+ years from now.
The Cell comes out in 2006. 2006-2004=2
Not following the pack, with the x86 mentality
Sony sells millions of x86 processors every year. As long as there's no SonyOS or MS Windows for CELL(TM) don't expect that to change.
I doubt you will find an American manufacturer who can compete there.
1) Sony sells Cells. 2) Sony builds the biggest distributed computing network ever. 3) Sony gives you free access to their gaming network if you make unused cycle available for their use. 4) Profit! Sony profits selling untold computing power to the highest bidder whilst making millions of gamers happy that they have no subscription fees to pay.
6) (optional) Masses flee xBox Live (which I'll admit, is pretty cool).
The brackets around $0.01 mean it's negative- which explains why $0.99-$1.00=($0.01). Usually you use angle brackets but that basically means the artists owe $0.01.
Don't forget that the main point of USB 2.0 is dun-na-na-na!: Marketing!!! What they really need us USB 2.0 High Speed XP 10.4 Second Edition Tiger MX Superfly X800 Ultra Extreme Inferno. That is if you want to benefit from greater than 12 Mbps transfer speeds.
I know there's nothing like Bruce Pro or Zarvox but I'm wondering if anyone knows or has any corroborative evidence that apple will be introducing new voices. That'd be pretty nice. After all we've had the same ones since...was it system 7? I'd think that they'd be able to improve voice synthesis significantly.
We have a policy that if the windows computers are going down, and people in that department are taking a paid break while the windows techs are fixing stuff, then all the Mac users get to take a break too. It happened just often enough for it to come up at a meeting.
'Course in practice we rarely have time in out production schedule to take advantage of it, but at least no one can complain that we're slackin'.
A Great way to save money too. If you're not to technolusty 10.2 is still perfectly usable and if you think once a year is too often/expensive to upgrade then skip a release.
P.S. That's right ? System 7 was pretty darn cool, MacOS 8 sucked and OS 9 was good again...hmmmm..
I wrote IBM back in 2000 for my high school senior project and asked them for a 10 port ethernet hub (unsolicited donations, yay!). Within a week I got a box in the mail and it was a 20 port 100/10 switch with a gigabit uplink. There was a brief note attached saying it was a used unit (used in their office) and that I could have it totally for free- no strings attached.
I used it for my project then later that year sold it to a production house (that I happened to be working for). Hooray for IBM.
Notice it was an assignment, not a comparison. Besides the points is C still gets incremented. It's not like incrementing 'C' would make it 'D' anyway... unless C was ASCII 67.
for ALL electronic consumer devices

Apple. (see G5 and iPod)
Try this one:

2) Sony builds the biggest distributed computing network ever.

Sound's like what you need is a 15x75cm stencel that reads "SUCKS" and a can of red or optionally napster purple spray paint.
We've been doing it with domain names for years!
What's a "Right Click"?????

(ok I have a 3 button logitech)
I doubt very many companies would feel safe just sending out all there private information to IBM just so they can have a cheap word processor.
I don't know about that- after all... "The era of the web-based software package has come."

I call the nigritude ultramarine iPod Mini's 4 GB HD (see link).
Really though, I was googles top #1 for misspelling frootsies - though I'm not any more- but maybeI will be again.

Buy the previous generation. I got a Clie SJ20 for $99. It's Black and white but at 320x320 it's pretty readable.
Try to pose your hands like that in a mirror. You'd have to have some pretty funky elbows or a reality distortion field or something.
I guess the RSD(TM) is already patented

but I'll stick with firewire.
I find the ad disturbing- why two left hands????
Look at the photo yourself- that's weird huh?

Just a thought.
Um, ok, that's great. Good for you. Have a cookie. Why are these articles filled with people saying, "I won't buy it"? Who gives a crap? Don't buy it!
I actually am going to buy it- I just said I wouldn't for the cookie!

So maybe I'll wait for 10.5.

Which is why, out of the box, I can do more on my Mac OS X system than I can on my XP box while it's simultaneously more stable and secure!
Mac OSX: Pick all three.
Here in California my brother and his buddy culled the herd at our local store (at a lake where they work) and got a whole case (24) of winners.
Win early, win often!

yet LTunes still manages to look pants in comparison to iTunes
By the smell of things it looks like you ment "lick pants." Somebody needs to comment out the ugly library.
Conveniently the same as Phantom power! Now you can power all that phantom gear off ethernet! Now if only Audio Over Ethernet went mainstream...
Ummm sorry...
5. ???
6. Profit!

Don't you people get it
C++ = D
No wonder it compatible with C libraries it's the sam thing!
Although I fully admit- starting MS Word

That's awesome! Admitting you have a problem is the first step to recovery!
