Look no further than the scientific double-blind gamefaqs survey! It shows not only that DS is strongly favored over PSP, it shows that PSP is the least favored system. Also, it is my duty as a Nintendo fanboy to point out Gamecube's staggering lead over Xbox.
He plans on doing something unrelated first to get a feel for the controller. By unrelated, they probably mean it's not survival/horror. Once he knows what he's doing, he's going to go (with his new knowledge of the control system) into the Capcom zombiefied universe, which is called Resident Evil.
You sound like somebody who'd appreciate a DS; also, you'd probably appreciate the Revolution when it's released. Sure, most DS games suck but places like Gamerankings make it easy to find the good ones. Many of those good DS games are quite unique and I suspect the same will be the case for the Revolution.
It's not about completing a goal. Sometimes I'm in the mood to play a video game but not in the mood for a challenge. When the mood strikes, I pick up Animal Crossing. The characters are entertaining and I find it satisfying to see what new characters wander through and what sorts of new items I can uncover.
Bottom line is that it allows you to explore and have fun without having the pressure of a challenge. It certainly isn't for everyone, but the freedom and low pressure make it great for escaping the stresses of the real world. Just like the character we create in the game who is running away from home, so does the player run away into the same fantasy world when everything else is just tiresome.
To make a long story short, it's just plain entertainment without the idea that you need to be skilled at anything. It's not really supposed to have a point, although there certainly are goals that can be achieved with patience.
This is all just another reason that the free market should be left to do its job without politicians mucking in it. My dad used to run a few soft drink factories and he would've liked to use real sugar, but it would be impossible to do so because it's too damn expensive.
Go to the store (in the USA) and find a soft drink made with real sugar. Now look at the price tag. Odds are it costs twice as much as its corn-syrup and diet competitors, just for the cost of sugar alone! Where's the freedom, both for the business and the consumer?
Here's what they do: release updated versions of a bunch of FF games for GBA and DS, make another Crystal Chronicles, and then surprise everybody with a random Star Ocean game. Same thing next year, too.
Everybody wants HD at some level, but what's so much more important than resolution is assets. I can play counterstrike at 640x480 and then play it at 1280x1024, but it's still the same thing. I've played my Gamecube on a normal TV and on my HDTV with the special cables, and it really isn't amazing. It's better, but it's far from important.
How about sending polls to your customers regarding their satisfaction? I know it's not the best idea; they probably don't give enough of a damn to fill out a survey.
The true definition of HD is something along the lines of "a tv set that's more than 640x480." You could say an HD chain is any old thing that can do HD plus any old HD TV. So, why is this even an article?
After all, they did just release this awesome GBA game called "Final Fantasy IV". It's the latest and greatest of the FF series and you should definitely give it a try before giving up on Square/Enix.
It reminds me of the glory days of console RPG's on systems like SNES and PSX.
The election commission does whatever it wants. Their only interest is to make sure only the big two parties stand a chance at any election. My state is the hardest state to get a party onto the ballot, and because of this there's only two choices on any state or federal level ballot in NC.
A bunch of people sitting in their comfy climate-controlled homes writing utter shit is not the proletariat. In fact, blogging itself has nothing to do with communism at all. Not every revolution is a proletarian revolution.
If they're banking on Japanese guys wasting more than half their disposable income on plastic figurines of that witch girl, they've got some rethinking to do.
With ideas like that, sounds like they've been smoking too much Maruyama!
I have a friend who has over 1000 myspace friends and fucks random ones all the time. She has a couple STD's and has no idea from where they came, but continues to fuck anything that myspaces. Her vagina is so ruined that there's no chance of her ever having children because of the STD's. Have fun.
Well, Firefox does have loads and loads of extensions and skins that make it much more than it is on a fresh install. Without extensions and skins, FF is nothing.

It's supposed to be confusing. If it wasn't, it just wouldn't be CS.
I'd love it if he came up with a good CS use for this and called it "Hofmann codes".

Podcasting, Skypecasting, ummmm... blogcasting? Seriously, it's just a media stream, not something new. Please invent words responsibly.

It's a joke. Get it? Anyone? Search engine optimization is usually a nice way of saying "domain squatting".

On the plus side, the gene pool is better off.
Are they? I always thought the worst kind of human scum were rapists and murderers. Hell, throw in drug dealers for good measure.
FATALITY!

I don't think so. What Dell does is sell some computers with no OS installed and a FreeDOS CD in the box with the computer.
