Do the code review and testing in your office. Set up some review stations connected on an independent net--ie. not on the Internet or company network. Remove the burners, floppy drives and USB ports to be safe. That will stop most leaks from getting out.
Give them access to a another machine if they need Internet access.

A Look at GNOME 2.14

Your post does not meet/. guidelines. To meet the guidelines you should either:
- Criticize GNOME, its developers and its users - Criticize KDE, its developers and its users - Bash Microsoft. - Make obligatory jokes about russia, etc..
You missed a few: - Correct a post's grammar or spelling - Complain about multiple posts - Assign random moderations - Troll for suckers by praising Microsoft, its developers and its users - Go off your lithium and write a 20 page paranoid rant (rare)
...Want to watch that new Blu-ray movie on your custom built PC at full resolution? Sorry, retail graphics cards won't be able to do that; only OEM-built computers from Dell, Sony, HP and the like will hae that functionality built in."
None of this OEM stuff will ever use Linux so I guess I will have to miss out on the bandwagon again. Sniff.
Oh Oh! Nortel/Enron alert: "...The CFO has resigned,..." I predict a major accounting fiasco, provided they stay above water and they actually had finances to squander.
I'd like to test that statement after a night of drinking too many lagers and then chowing down on a vindaloo curry. Testing begins at 7am the next day. Hey kids, it's the Hershey Squirts vs. Nano Technology.
In grade 11 physics we were discussing hadrons and other subatomic particles when the shyest and geekiest girl asks, "How big are these hard-on thingies?" Order was not restored and the class was dismissed a few minutes early.
is certainly the power grid. Although the larger ISP's have UPS support and backup generators, many smaller sites and individuals do not.
Up here in Canada, most cellphone receivers have no backup power, so cells stop working. Cable and POTS seem to work for at least 12 hours. My laptop only goes for about three hours before needing a recharge.
On the home front, heating systems require electricity to run, (fireplaces and woodstoves still work.) Radios, TVs and the like only work with batteries (and get harder to buy every year).
...Emacs could be 50 million lines of pure GNU GPL code -- It's still a shitty editor.
OH OH! Be prepared for a ton of flames. Last time I badmouthed vi, my mailbox filled up with flaming replies of how I was wrong. Guard your firstborn with your life.
"A recent Study in the British Journal of Cancer shows that the use of Quercitin and 20KHz ultrasound for 60 seconds killed skin and prostate cancer cells....
So, where do you rub the Quercitin cream and place the ultrasound probe to kill prostate cancer cells?
ATI having better quality video has been the case for the last 10 years. Even when they sucked at drivers when it came to games, their video was0 unmatched, both quality-wise and performance-wise (HW acceleration since 1997 with Rage Pro).
This is true for Windows but not for Linux. The Linux drivers are shit, dog, snake or horse: take your pick. They suck.
However, they do have the makings of a world-class kernel panic generator. Try googling for "kernel panic ati video" for a look at the problems over the years.
I would like to see some reviews with Linux drivers. Anyone have any experience?
Yes! Nvidia is way ahead of ATI in both 3-d performance and video playback. Most of the ATI options in Windows do not work in Linux. ATI has promised better drivers for Linux but progress is slow. ATI is wasting most of their nifty hardware with their old and crappy drivers. Bottom Line: Only buy Nvidia if you use Linux.
The big question is, how would the tattered remnants fo man (or any other intelligent being that happens along) know where to find the seeds even if they were viable.
That's easy. Put a link on Microsoft's home page. Hoo! Hoo! Hoo!
Encoding information optically in an array of dots for long-term archival:
IBM 1360 Photostore
WOW! That gives me an idea. Instead of scanning row-by-row we could rotate the media to reduce seek time. If we used a higher frequency of light we could increase the density of information on each piece of media. If we spin the media faster we can increase the rate of data transfer. Finally, if we use a light sensitive dye and a focused laser we will eliminate the need for messy photo-chemicals and development wait-times.
A quick back of the envelope calculation shows that we would get about 700MB of storage per media.

Jack Thompson and prostitutes on the same side. The mind boggles.

This new tag is so thin that I guess that we will all be wearing the "patch" in a few years.

In short, I am crippled when the mains go out.
