In general, I think this is acceptable because the popular view is most terrorists are Arabs, however, we must remember that most Arabs are not terrorists.
Take Command & Conquer Generals for example. The GLA (terrorists) were Arabs because, face the facts, we are fighting terrorists of Arab background (Al-Qaida and the boys).
one reason for this might be that "younger male players are probably less secure about their own gender identity."
I think it's because younger male players are the ones more likely to put up a "No Girl's Allowed" sign on their treehouse (if they actually had friends to share it with).

He still makes a great point. You don't see speeders walk in to a police station asking for a ticket. Tech support depends on people who are willing to admit they don't know. If the user's licence depends on the user "knowing", they will never admit to needing tech support.
On the other hand, this plan opens up a new field which relates to your point. We will then need people who will need to decide which users don't know the rules and to enforce that appropriately.
Remember when Microsoft listed Linux as their number two risk? Unfortunately, Linux users get shafted again. I doubt I'll ever see MSN 6 for Linux. They're just trying to scare out Linux users/MSN users back into Windows.
If they like the anti-M$ image, they're doing a great job of enforcing it.
Of course, it is the ability to get-build-send simultaneously (or micro-manage) that makes players so good and makes such games so popular.
I think the AGE OF... series sports a different style of strategy then Warcraft or Starcraft did. It placed more emphasis on the get-build-send which many gamers have mastered and enjoyed. The amount of practice that goes into accomplishing this has made the game enjoyable for many gamers. Think about those who calculate build times and the ideal build orders. This is why they do it, to better accomplish their get-build-send strategy.
Warcraft and Starcraft were not based on this strategy. They draw their audiences because they are simpler. They both emphasized the ability to expand territory to accomplish the "get" phase. Battles are not as directly based on the get phase and the get is not as directly based on the build-send phase. They both strive to overwhelm the opponent by cutting them off from supplies and simply massing up your number1 melee, (sometimes) your number1 ranged for support, and your number1 siege for a quick destruction. Rock-Paper-Scissors approach makes cutting off your opponent to difficult to accomplish because it is too easily countered.
Actually, I find that most gamers are not willing to admit they are. Mainly because computer games are very anti-social (unless you put a lot of effort into getting the most out of them) so why would you brag about how long you spent playing Return to Castle Wolfenstein when you were obviously secluded like a loser during that time?
It's only the hardcore gamers who make it social.
...detected water ice uniformly distributed in the soil of Mars' north polar regions. The amount of hydrogen detected indicates ice of 80% to 90% of soil volume.
Who really cares. Even with ice deep in Mars' polar region, it doesn't mean anything. We already know there is ice there. And think about how difficult it would be to get at it if we needed it for a future exploration mission.
Sounds like too much hype for too little a discovery.

Anyone know?
Maybe they'll change it to AskBob.com since that was such a successful product :)
I would have thought AskBill would be more apporpriate.
They're trying to generate some audience after tanking during the World Series.

Mod parent up - very clever.

Kind of reminds me of the barq's hip hop image.

Old news. I posted that link a while ago!!!

- There would be no confusion as to what time this event will occur.
This confusion is exactly what internet time is designed to stop.
