I think Picasa 1.whatever (1.18?) used to store the backup of the original in a hidden folder, and replaced the original filename. I could be wrong, it might've done it the other way round. I can't check either, as my picasa just stopped working one day.
Of course, the author probably would have said something like "And as everyone knows, the sky is not royal blue, but paradoxically, more of a turquoise, and as usual, one would find the earth, unsurprisingly, located in a direction not above them, clearly showing that the issues are unresolved."
Sounds to me like the author is Mojo-jojo.
We have a chain of supermarkets called "Pak'n'Save", consistently the cheapest supermarket year after year. They suffer somewhat from the "5 cents off the one [flavour] they actually stock", and they're self-bagging too. But as far as I'm aware (having chatted with a few cute checkout girls over the years:#), they pay their cashiers more than some of the 'classier' supermarkets.
I'm tempted to do the same, but don't quite have the guts to do it. I've been acting and singing since I was 8, but didn't realise till my 3rd year of Uni (comp sci) how much I loved it. Now, luckily I get the occasional paying job singing, acting or dancing, but not enough to justify making a run of it, but almost enough to keep me sane.
When I use a Linux native version, it sends the manufactures a message that Linux is a viable gaming platform. When I use Cedega, I don't send that message.
So your typical linux games are spyware, but Cedega acts like a firewall?;0)
It just doesn't want googleads (or any other ad company) using their content. Interestingly, their code checks even for hacked operas that don't contain Opera by checking window.opera. Apparently that returns true even on a hacked Opera.
NOTE: I don't know what constitutes a 'hacked' opera, or why you'd want to.
from the article "... it rewards those students who parrot the industry line with trips and free DVDs. "
So on the one hand they're being told that 'if they don't pay for it, they've stolen it', and on the other, they're rewarded... with things they haven't paid for (except maybe with their souls..:0)
Oh yeah, good idea. Then we end up with something brain-dead, like 'make'.
And the stoned chief engineer from 'SpaceQuest', and the foreign taxi driver from 'Wings'
What is it?

I've often found ascent to have near to the lowest prices.
Especially given their free national shipping.

No, no, no. The Halo effect boots Microsoft's XBox revenue. *sheesh*

And you will barely be able to tell who shoots first!
Done
The, (glossed over), drawback is that you can finish the single player mode in an afternoon.
;-)
I wouldn't know, I don't have an xbox. I'm still trying to get the Prince past himself, out of the Dungeons to rescue his bride.

No one else would touch it 'cause it was tainted by Rational Rose and UML? ;-)
rhymes with 'Fozzie'. Those are voiced sibilants.
Can't say I've noticed...
Should move to New Zealand, all the papers (both of them) are screaming about the lack of labour, and the lowlowlow unemployment rate (4%)
But using encarta's "set editor" option. Ahh, that was fun. Pointless (no net access in Putaruru in '96), but fun.

Now I envision a chain of QC centres (like Western Union I guess - or the old west morse telegraph stations), but with adjoining chinese restaurants.

In living languages, definitions can change with popular usage. Get over it.
