    I used to buy a lot of music CDs. But after this wave of incompatible discs i just resorted to download mp3s as its sure that i can play them on whatever device i want.

    you had some files in that dir named "u" and "A" and the [a-z] and [A-Z] are also SHELL WILDCARDS !!!

    Those Aussies are so lucky. The original Xbox has not yet been launched in Romania (Eastern Europe). When i asked half year ago a microsoft Romania sales rep about the availability of the Xbox he told me that even at the HQ they didn't received one. The playstations otoh had only a month delay. So everyone here bought PS2s.

    Mod parent UP for mentioning ReBorn.
    It was free, it ran on Linux and its interface was WAY more usable that ReBirth's one.
    But Propellerhead threatened to SUE the guy because the interface looked like theirs - both of the interfaces being a IMAGE OF THE 303 !
    Fsck Propellerhead and their sh*tty software.

    Try Arachne
      I personally installed it on a 12Mhz 286 with 2Mb of ram, ISA2000 clone lan card with 10Base2 and Monochome VGA monitor. And with NCACHE (Norton equiv of SmartDrive) configured to use 96kb of XMS was usable (without it - it would take a lot to save all the files of a webpage to the disk cache).
    On a IBM PC110 (486SX 33mhz, 8Mb RAM) it really flies.

    Using A,Z,X,C keys to move the cursor and V to put a pixel ... Wasting 4 hours to draw a cool racecar (with simulated spining wheels using carefully placed FLASH attributes and moire patterns) and having my Speccy clone crash as my mom plugged the washing machine in the same electrical circuit when i was just about to save the picture on a tape.

    A software package named git - also known as the 'Gnu Interactive Tools' - allready exists.

    Think at it as a combination on Midnight Commander with emacs keybindings & config. Me and a lot of people use this usefull shell.

    So please change the name of this source versioning package.
