    well... you did go past the alotted time... there's no reason for them to take it back... Granted, it would have been nice, and probably ethical for them to do so, but you screwed the pooch on it... there's no reason to complain there. It was your own mistake.

    It may be because it's brand spankin new... but I "use" mine and get 3.5-4 hours..... *shrug* that is of course I'm adding files to my iPod without it plugged in... but that's some extreme batter usage...

    I just purchased a Powerbook and I get c. 3.5-4 hours battery life... I don't know what problems you were having with the macs you tried...

    It they had to pay $20,000 dollars for a computer they would learn to take better care of it. But then again I see plenty of people that abuse cars too.

    Amen to that! I work in at a used car dealership, and to see some of the things that come back to us...

    Whether it's a Repo, of just seeing the condition when they come in to make a payment... I don't understand why they don't take care of their cars.

    same with comptuers though.. I've seen burns, cracks, holes and whatnot in cases quite a few times.. and they wonder why they don't work very well... whenever there are dust bunnies the size of Rhode Island...

    to each his own I guess.

    seeing as how they are MCSEs, they will last longer than Linux techs.

    Now before you all get mad, I'll explain.

    It's just that MCSEs have to have a larger lung capasity to explain around all of Window's problems, ending up blaming the user, whereas the Linux tech will just up and blame the user.

    simple as pie!

    it's not that big of a deal... seriously... almost everything beta is invite only.. they are working on features... it's still beta... it's not all that amazing that it's invite only.

    just wait... it will come out. in the mean time, who wants these invites? i've got 3.
