Your point 2 is the most important reason why the Germans lost. Hitler was so convinced about his Final Solution that he spent a vast amount of the German military's resources on killing all the inferior races instead of keeping supplies to his front line. That coupled with the two front war. Wikipedia's (they're down for maintence at the moment) article states that had the German troops not gone through Belgium to get to France the English wouldn't have gotten involved as early as they did.

Austrailia has done a good job with thwarting forgery in more than just the media that the bills are printed on. Really good counterfeiting operations in the United States take a batch of one dollar bills and bleach them to remove all the stuff from the one, except they protect the serial number, then they reprint a higher bill's value onto it. That won't work in Austrailia, because every bill has braille and the larger the note's value, the larger the note. A one and a five arn't the same size.

Actully, the people that founded the United States didn't seek freedom of any kind, they were just sick of being taxed, and after they won independence they still kept slavery and sexist views. The Constitution is a good piece of literature, but it's only that, a piece of literature. When people make a piece of writing that's supposed to last through the years it has to look good and noble, and the people that wrote it are supposed to be view as benevolent, selfless people.

If you plan on making a society that exists for sole freedom of others, make sure you view both sides of the fence, any discontinuty with your ideals and it'll all come crashing down.

From a biological stand point when you get something like diabetes, it's time for you to check out and no longer contribute to the gene pool, but we've evolved to make it so that isn't a problem.

Music on the other hand, has been around longer than medicine. It could be considered entertainment, but it's a very important facet of human life. Almost everyone listens to music in one form or another, it's something that keeps us from going insane with boredom. I'd say it's more important than insulin.

This brings up the second issue. Who would fix it? Democrats and Republicans sided with the bill. It isn't a matter of changing out one group of people for another, because it won't improve things. We need honest politians, but that's an oxymoron.
