In America, towards the end of the NES's life span, Nintendo released a top loading NES. This was great because you didnt have to mess with a broken spring or other stuff wearing out like you had to with the old NES.
If any of you liked Advanced Wars and want a fantasy slant to it, pick up Fire Emblem when it gets released over here. If you have played Shining Force, you know what Fire Emblem is going to be like. Personally I cant wait!
Ah yes, you are correct. Black Isle owns me and my checkbook.
Having played and beaten Baldurs Gate I and II and all the expansions, IceWind Dale I and II (and expansions) and Torment, I think its safe to say they own my life too
Am I the only one who wishes Bioware would make more RPGs in the vein of Baldurs Gate, Icewind Dale and Planescape: Torment? Those were excellent games, and took forever to get through. Im very disappointed in these new 3D RPGs, that are a whole lot of flash, but (to me) not very fun.
Elite Force 1 and 2 were both good, but thats a rare occurance with Trek games.
95% were ass, the rest were good. If it was the otherway around, you wouldnt see them suing anyone.
Try watching the show for once. It isnt all about fighting, although that is the most popular part. My friend owns every episode on DVD (thats available in America) and I have seen the whole series. Once you get into it, it is hard to stop watching.
There are alot of funny parts of DBZ, not just people trying to save the world (is that such a bad thing?)
Well, RSIII isnt out yet, so dont go looking for it. RSII is out and is a great game, but is single player only.
The other Star Wars games you mentioned were made by a different company, not Factor 5.
I know Rogue Squadren III is not out yet, but in that game they offer all the missions of Rouge Squadren II, as multiplayer missions. Cooperative too.
Factor 5 kicks ass.
The sales of the first one were so high that they went ahead and ported the rest...individually. Yes, it sucks for us, but for them they are making boatloads of cash.
I think the main reason is that alot of gamers today havent played SMB2,3 or even World.
Sad really.
The 2 player minigames are a whole lot better with the GBP. You dont need to scrunch up anymore with one GBA.

Am I the only one who remembers this fondly? BTW I still have a great working NES console.

Soon it will be cheaper just to get laid and do drugs all day. Sweet sweet drugs....

The MS controller works great for all those ROMS that I (dont) have. And even if I did have them, I own every game for which I have a ROM to..

Yeah, right Activision. And I'm sure making craptastic games had nothing to do with poor sales.
Riiiiight.
Yeah, its in development. Who knows when it will come out. Rare likes to delay titles almost as much as Nintendo.
Na, this is Madison, WI
If you want to see how really messed up it can get here, check out www.madisondungeon.com
scary!
Does this include getting whipped by a leather-clad female at the local club The Inferno a few Saturdays ago?

Hey Acclaim, stop making shitty games and maybe I will buy one that you create.

Good thing im not a consumer, or I wouldnt be confused. Oh wait...
Dont must not go on IRC much. Go on there with the nick Kelly16f and see what happens :)
I also think their sexy, but I really dont want other guys in a game I'm playing to think I am a sexy girl with a gun and then hit on me. Do you?
This was done after the bill was passed....how could posting the SSN after the fact change anything?
Yeah, you can get it imported, but like any Japanese RPG, knowing the language makes it ALOT better, otherwise its not much fun.

Regardless, yes the medium you play on (cds) is much much cheaper than carts, but production costs are a whole lot more. It evens out.
Ah yes, Joe is Capcom (part of the exclusive Capcom 5), but I did know it was $40 :)
