    Obviously this person is not very well traveled:Anyone who has ever even traveled to China knows this is simply untrue. Yes America should not use other countries and people as scapegoats for their own problems but using America as a scapegoat for the rest of the world is also a foolish way to go about things.

    This should be "Interesting"! The term "Window" was around far longer then Microsoft ever was. Yet that didn't stop them from sueing Lindows and getting their name changed. If Microsoft owns the term "Window(s)" why couldn't I start a proc production company and name it "CPU" and then force all the chip makers to either take it off of their box of pay me royalties.

    Actually it's not entirely "legal" because XViD does not pay licensing fees for the MPEG4 standard, but then again I use it for all my rips so I'm with your there buddy.

    I share 40+ gigs of anime on p2p. About 40% is .ogm which is XviD video and Ogg Vorbis. Obviously you haven't looked very extensively(not to mention all of the .avi which is encoded in XviD such as my Naruto collection)

    I don't know if people realize this but one of the major reasons computers exist as they do today is because of military research. Yeah building nukes was one of the driving forces behind more complex and powerful computers. Both nuclear power and computers grew up as a result of WW2. Now stop complaining about military research because you wouldn't even be typing messages on Slashdot if it weren't for the need of more advanced military technology pushing science and application of science further ahead.

    Hate to burst your bubble but the newer versions of windows don't use FAT32 filesystem. They use NTFS.
