How many years would I get if I physically broke into the theatre and started attacking the manager with a baseball bat? Less then 10 years I assure you.
Is my understanding right that it is only a Windows program? I use both MacOS and several Linux distros and I am exteremly offended they didn't make it compatible with the platforms I feel comfortable using!
HAVE YOU EVER HEARD OF TRANSCODING!!! You can easily convert it into the same video people share on P2P now! I can't believe this guy got modded insightful! Have you ever heard of DIVX or XVID?!
The reason this person is right that the government should not GPL their software but use and contribute to only public domain software is because it can also help businesses who rely on software to make money. And this would boost the economy. Personally I think having the government use the BSD license or public domain is because in can then in turn go into non-free as well as free software, which is much helpful to a capitalist economy.
Everyone is always talking about blue screening but I have had an XP Pro box for more then 3 years. I HAVE NOT SEEN A BLUE SCREEN DURING THESE PAST THREE YEARS!!! I build and repair many of my neighbors computers constantly and have never seen an XP box BSOD. The reason I don't see them is simple...Windows XP does not blue screen like the Win9X used to do. Simple as that. People are keeping this alive for as long as possible just to have a reason to make fun of Microsoft. Please just give it a rest!
Most of the posts so far are pointing out that because it was not made by AI it is not a completely artificial movie. What they are trying to say is that it is the first completely artificial movie product(basically when you see the movie there aren't any real traces of human actors/voiceactors).
Ever tried to run a AMD proc in a PC with the heatsink off? It shuts down immediately. It's not just going to fry and melt into a money wasting puddle.
Here is a nice little experiment for you: Next time you go to the gas station check the price of gas and then compare it to the price of a bottle of water. I have so far tried this at several gas stations and have concluded that bottled water per galon is ATLEAST twice as expensive as gasoline(87 octane). When are peope going to look for "alternate" hydration methods besides water!
Just like having a lock on your front door. It is extremely easy to pick a pin-tumbler lock in less then a minute, but why would you waste your time when some people leave theirs unlocked in the first place.
How long before someone writes a program that uses random key strokes and clicks to rearrange the words and sentence structure of a paper using a thesaurus and some smart programming, so that it is impossible to discover where the work came from.

Is some more info on what SMP(Symmetric multiprocessing)actually is and what it's advantages and drawbacks are.
This is a spacewalk.

Does it run Linux like Microsoft's gaming console?!

A new OS inspired by Serial Experiments Lain built ontop of BSD...Interesting
It crashes yes but doesn't disrupt the other running processes and does not go to a blue screen. It only brings up a small program crash window.

The very fact that the AI would be created by humans would mean that there is a degree of human involvement.

Kind of like how gaming consoles(XBOX) are supposed to be, but Linux still exists on the platform. Although I admit it might not be entirely legal.

If I would have known this earlier I would have been able to complete Metal Gear Solid in under an hour!!!
"dows" is to Windows and Lindows
