What really scares me is that I read this:
Machine readable = ATM > 7-11's Database > Choicepoint > Spammers and Identity Theifs
as
Machine readable = ATM > 7-11's Database > Checkpoint > Spammers and Identity Theifs
I wonder how far off I really am.
A lot of it can be made a lot easier (and faster) by using a mechanical (or electronic) automatic morse code key sender. By pressing the right side of the key, you get dashes until you release. Left side, dots.
Cheap and abundant net cafes. People in the developing world don't need to play quake. If they can rent a pc for some period of time, it helps them communicate. Just like the communal pay phone at the general store worked decades ago. Abundancy means they don't have to walk a long distance.
Tell that to the boss when the code is due. You will soon learn what is REALLY important in the real world.
Without working code, there is no product. Without product, there is no money. Without money, hello unemployment line.
>I do NOT want my kids watching that FBI Warning. With that dark background and ominous silence my kids would be scared to death!
Sounds awesome. Kind of like 2001. Got a torrent?
I'm sure that in the next 5 minutes, the "5,5 armchair nanotube" will be criticized by the armchair physicists, the Slashdot equivalent of the armchair quarterback.
Television is not for education. Or entertainment. It's for idling your mind after a stressful day of work or for forgetting that there are thousands of people somewhere in the world that want to kill you. After 9/11 (in a post 9/11 world...), I watched so much news, I got addicted. Now, I try not to watch or listen to the news due to the depression I got afterwards. I still am addicted to checking the news on the web, but reading about it doesn't burn out the mind as much as seeing and hearing images of death and misery.
Since it refers to operating costs, I can only assume kilograms refers to something of great value, such as gold or cocaine. Or, gold pressed latinum, if you're REALLY off in fantasyland.

Do. Or do not. There is no plan.
Will there be anything worthwhile to watch on it?

I tied my vacuum cleaner to my dog. Will this replace the roomba?
Unless you're Bill Gates.

Update: Still on ground floor.
Happens every year. April 1st.
Somehow, this reminds me of the Jesse Jackson quote: "I not only deny the allegations, I deny the alligator."
