  1. Yes, history on U.S. Continues Biological Warfare Research · · Score: 1

It is interesting in discussing history, we had an alternitive atomic bombing plan that was discussed, that being, dropping the atomic bomb on uninhabited islands to show what would happen to populated areas. Japan did not surrender after the bombs were dropped, they surrendered after we assured them there emperor could hold a figurehead position that would give japan a saving face from complete surrender (one of Mcarthur's smartest decisions to save both or one of the countries from further imense bloodshed), with out this the extreme radical military personal would have fought to the death. Actually if we would of given Japan the "emperor stays as a figurehead" consession beforehand (they asked for it but we wanted complete surrender, unconditional) they might of surrendered before the A bombs were (needed to be) dropped. Please excuse my spelling where needed.

Could the process of solar flares be this complex or is there a seperate weather system in or on the sun's surface? My guess is the several layers of the sun play a part with the surface the majority of changes needed for a flare, then there is gravity, metallic helium(correct me on this if needed),a pound or two of liqid plasma. Or is it just the transfer of the energy to empty space that creates these storms(I like this idea), I would like to say the solar storm(s) made me smarter but I have to stop now, any thoughts?

Man has always looked up and down (and for you jokers "around and around")I believe space has its advanages, the vaccuum of space is(for sake of argument) constant so once is is "delt" with there is just increasing speed, decreasing speed, floating around, avoiding a few micrometors, and trying to not go nuts on long voyages. It is expensive. The ocean is closer but constantly increasing water pressure (while decending) held back deep exploration for centuries. If you are searching the ocean botton and tethered to the surface weather is a big handicap. Compared to space ships getting to the moon in three days(gathering data the whole way) a submersable would have a very tough time to get across the ocean in the same time so dealing with the water density determins a lot(how fast oceans are explored by a manned vessel). Space exploration gained a lot of tech. from WW II, submarines did not change much, could go a little faster and deeper but still a tin can. Just some thoughts.

The volcanic dust blown into the upper atmosphere was carried several times around the earth by air currents. This volcanic dust veil not only created the spectacular atmospheric effects described previously but acted also as a solar radiation filter, reducing the amount of sunlight reaching the surface of the earth. In the year following the eruption, global temperatures were lowered by as much as 1.2 degree Centigrade on the average. Weather patterns continued to be chaotic for years and there were major climatological changes which affected the entire globe. Temperatures did not return to normal until five years later, in 1888". This article dates the eruption at August 26 1883 and was written by "The Tsuami Page"-Dr.George Pararas-Carayannis. Google found

If X millions of tons of (more) fresh water enter say an area of 1000 sq miles the effect can be dramatic. I do not think we know the full story of what can happen but something will (happen). It gets to a pretty important thing in the life of the human race, Food, from the ocean in this case. The global warming issue on the land comes down to rain, too much or too little, encroaching deserts and how long it will take to adapt and the life style that will be the result. The melting glaciers (and they are) is only part of a sign that it is not too late to do something becausse we may survive but we may not be too happy with the results and we all know what happens when the human race is not happy
