    It is when we give up listening to the otherside of the argument is when we stop being heard also. The argument over in there is deep in complexity and history. We all need to leave an open mind to the other side of the argument.

    I find it incredible that this 'vulnerability" have existed for so long without anyone noticing it sooner. Maybe someone has and kept quite... It is issues like these arises that you have to go through your firewall logs and account for every single byte of information that has gone in and out of any network you maintain if there is a Windows machine within it.

    At home, I have one mchine in the house which the kids uses to play games on that still runs XP. After this latest "REVELATION" I think I will move them now to linux or FreeBSD. Anyone know where I can purchase some Linux kiddy games?

    At work, well I guess I'm going to be busy going through more logs.

    If everyone that is subscribed to this service was to cancel their subscription and let these scrotum sweat licking corporation operate on the $500 a month they will be receiving then this would be quite just.

    YES it was wrong and illegal of this gentleman to be selling these devices. But it is morally corrupt to sue a man for all he is worth many lifetimes over! FFS - I guess this is what you have when big corporation now own you and everything you do in this lifetime and the next....

    I wonder if I can sue them for sendng their signal into my home without consent.

    FFS - technology is a tool, not the business! There are plenty of people out that are Linux/*nix/*BSD proficient and lookig for work. If there company can't find the people to support their system, then it is more of a HR or business model problem. You recruit IT people who know how to solve a technical problem, not just one that can dial a bloomin phone.

    For some reason I no longer have to have the latest and greatest. For the sheik in geek is now the trusted and reliable. My best PDA - Palm III, best mobile - Nokia 5110. After spending many years and lots of money to make sure that I have the latest and greatest, I now think "WHAT A FOOL" I was to have been taken in by the hype! Gosh I'm either getting old or starting a trend.

    In case you missed the news, America is now an empire and there is no such thing as sovereign countries anymore as far as a Federal Agency is concerned. The physical boundaries that the FBI now worked by is no longer defined by borders, but rather it is defined by the ozone.

    I use to buy two CDs a week. Then it went to one CD and one DVD once I got a DVD player. The first thing I would do when I buy a CD is to make a copy of it and put the original away. This is simply because I have kids and the number of scratches I find on them (once I pick them up off the floor) would make the initial investment I made very expensive. I don't think this is piracy, I believe this is simply looking after and valuing what you have. I stopped buying CD simply because of the false and demeaning stance the RIAA has taken which would make my backup activity illegal! Although piracy should be (and is) illegal, where the phuk does the RIAA get off assuming that I am a pirate simply because I value my property.

    Gosh I did love my first (as in computer) C64 and a romance with an atari followed soon after. In fact I think I had both of them at the same times... But with the article, lost my interest after "cool to retrofit an Atari 800 to be a full-fledged Windows PC". Jeez-Maan! How can you treat a loved one with such disrespect!
