"Instantly working bluetooth data connections with most carriers (I was amazed how easy it was to setup - select your carrier, turn on bluetooth on your mobile and off you go, instead of windows where you have to know setting XX ZZ and YY before you have a chance of getting connected through your mobile phone)."
Something else that is really cool is that when you connect to the phone with bluetooth, you can access the memory on the phone like an attached storage device.
Yeah, I know what you mean. I haven't been able to get my hands on a cool Wii console, so I am going to settle for a 'tard box 360 instead. Wonder if I can get it preinstalled with Vista?
You know, the similar stories from Denmark would have been more interesting if they had spun the container instead of putting an agitator into the middle of the water.
Plus, a button less phone seems counter-intuitive to me.
Back in the day, no phones had buttons. They had this perforated wheel thing called a dial. In fact, when we push the buttons on a phone today, we still say we are "dialing" the number. There was even a time before there were dials.
I haven't seen any games I would consider art, but I have seen a lot that would have been more useful stuck to a wall or sitting on my table as a coaster than in my CD ROM drive.
The "insurgent" is the guy who just shot your ass. Brought to you by one pissed-off American, $0.00, and about 43 seconds of time. Do I get an article on/.?
FTFA: "Ms. Coakley said the amount was more than the state would have obtained through litigation. The settlement shields the companies from civil or criminal liability by state and local agencies, Ms. Coakley said."
Interestingly, a monetary payment paid to shield a criminal suspect from prosecution is called a bribe, and in the U.S., is itself illegal.
I dunno, my TV takes 10-15 seconds to boot. My cable box takes 2-3,b.minutes to boot from complete power down. My AV unit takes 3-4 seconds to boot. My electric light comes on as soon as I hit the switch.
I get exactly the same thing with T-Mobile. I assumed this was deliberate to free up space on their towers. When calling into my T-Mobile phones, I will receive messages that "this number has been disconnected." An hour later, calls go through with no problems. I assumed this was just a generic error message written by the same clods who write the Windows error messages.
Sony releases new PlayStation model and people stand in lines for a week or so to buy it and it sells out in 10 minutes; the machine plays cutting edge games AND BlueRay movies; sony has lots of game exclusives; and Sony produces lots of movies, so we concluded that it is doomed. Right. Makes sense to me.
I don't even like sony and I think they are going to spank butt. I'm predicting that Sony will take most of the market, that Nintendo will double it's marketshare, and the Xbox will shrink its marketshare drastically. Check me in three years and see if I am right.
the Xbox 360 has been out a year and still no Halo 3. The graphics are great, but there are no compelling games and the backwards compatilibty is a kludge as is the HD-DVD compatibility. Now, right before Christmas, the 360 is selling for $100.00 many places. If it is doing well, the price would stay high until after the first of the year.
well, alot of us held our noses and voted for him because we didn't think kerry got it regarding the war. we also hoped and prayed that he would leave his big spending, federal takeover of everything, ruinous trade and immigration policies. but alas, we've been hoodwinked. and now he's not even fighting an agressive war. I want my money back!!!
Reading your post indicating you were "hoodwinked" suggests that you had some reason to believe these things about Bush and that somehow he was responsible for suggesting them to you. Neither of these implications is fact. Bush suggested all along in the election that he supported the war and would "stay the course" and that he favored increased war spending and the PATRIOT Act and that he supported "free trade" and "open boarders."
I think the man is a liar and he has lied on many occasions, but he didn't lie about these things. I'm sorry to say it, but if you thought otherwise about his positions you were stupid.
macbooks are too expensive for me to buy one, if they ever come down in price that would be great. But right now you can buy a pc with the same config cheaper.
Really? I didn't know non-Apple branded PC's shipped with MacOS X. I'll have to check into this.
I thought it was dead. Since, I thought they weren't going to have any more E3's anyway, I guess this is good news.
They use cane sugar there as well and it is significantly better than the stuff we get here in the U.S.

In other news: water runs downhill, the air is full of colorless gasses, and the sun is a big ball of fire.
"Btw, chances are it was a sound card driver - this is a moderately common problem, but it sure isn't the end of the world."
I agree, no one needs sound on a computer. That's why we have iPods.
But interestingly, Spaniards shrare less than 25% of their DNA with human beings. :-P
Subject says it all.

The chocolatiers of old Europe are just trying to stiffle innovation.

When I saw this, I thought, "Cool, now I can finally get my kids a dog and me some additional storage space, all with one purchase."
LOL, that made my day. I don't care if these skanks did rate it flamebait.
A 40 minute ping really sucks for gaming and means no one is going to let you play.
You do realize that there is such a thing in the law as a Motion to Quash Subpoena, right?

Yeah, all things considered, wouldn't it just be cheaper to not dick around with your neighbors all the time?
Try to create an English sentence of 160 letters but only 4 words.
The mobiescence site says it can by typed in 20 seconds on a QWERTY keyboard with 164 keystrokes.
