i bought the first archos jukebox that could play movies. it wasnt much bigger than an ipod, but it was heavier. and that was over a year ago when it was $200. theres a new one http://www.archos.com/ its no ipod, as in the engineering of the interface isnt as nice, but hell it was $200 for 20GB. immediately after i bought it, the novelty of watching a lotr-rip on a small screen went away, and it just became an mp3 player for me. so my point is, what is so special about this M$ product. it already exists, and im willing to bet their version wont be as good as the ones already on market
this is one of the 'expert' whores that was quoted by SCO as agreeing with their lawsuit, just when the whole SCO thing started months ago.
here's a brief history of this asshat

at first thought, that doesn't sound like an important award. when i was a kid, our soccer team had a "most improved" award. its a lot easier for the worst player to improve a lot % wise, than for a good player. from what i remember, a few months ago they still used kernel 1.02.;-) so if they just updated to version 2.4 they doubled their kernel growth!!! however if the kernel version is considered to be a logarithmic scale, then theyve grown by over 1000%!!!! go debian!
From the McBride Article: "it becomes a question of whether you're going to protect your rights or back down from a set of folks you believe are going to come after you with pitchforks."
Why didn't we think of this earlier? These DDoS attacks are far too nerdy to scare Darl. Pitchforks... sweeeeettt!!!
Next time someone questions the educational ability of the internet, simply respond with that one word. It is proof that we've all learned something new, which we probably never would have.
Right now Forbes.com is being bombarded by unsolicited requests for that article by us.:) Who knows, maybe they have to pay for their bandwidth. Let's see how they like it when they get cost money by people they have no interest in.
this is a GOOD thing. this is what should have been happening for over a year. the MPAA has been going after movie fans who like to download movies, yet often end up buying the DVDs, when the leakage was an internal problem. though this will probably decrease the availablity of movies for me to download, at least the FBI isnt bashing down my door and calling me a pirate (I have never attacked a ship on the open seas, nor do I plan to). the ones that the MPAA should be getting upset at, are now the ones that they are.
I STEAL MUSIC/MOVIES FROM THE INTERNET
Has anyone given thought that perhaps this M$/SCO/SUN campaign is doing more harm that it appears. This is probably around the 100th article I've read about this. Reading 100 articles == not writing 100s of lines of open source software code. Darl knows that everytime he craps a turd, it distracts thousands of linux programmers from their job. Let's stop paying attention to this crap. Reminds me of the simpsons episode where the giant marketing characters come to life.
forgive me, but i can't see how this would be stuff anyone could find out using the internet and credit reports. are we talking about individual purchases, aside from just credit history? anyone have any good insights?
The thing is... its not about violence against a specific racial group! Have you ever played any of the games. The majority of the comic relief of these games comes from the Black, Italian, Chineese, Japaneese, Haitian, Cuban, South American, Redneck, and NPRish... sterotypes. This game makes fun at EVERYONE, which is clever, as they cannot be held accountable for isolating any one group.
"the Linksys EtherFast five-port switch and a Linksys Wireless Ethernet Bridge. (Those in the know refer to the last item as a "Wet 11." Naturally.)"
Wet 11? No man! Hell no! I do believe you could get your ass kicked for saying something like that!
" Bulletproof is counter-suing Navitaire in the district of Utah."
We know Utah is weird, very weird, but there must be something in the water. Why does everyone , like SCO, want to do stupid things there? Are there any lawyers who can shed some light on their legal system? I could speculate on reasons, religious, cultural, sober.... but I'd just be talking outta my ass. So what is the deal over there???
"Trent Lott (R-MS)."
I dont know if this means that he is a member of Republicans for MicroSoft or if you mean that he is currently being posessed by Richard Stallman
this guy peed his pants becasuse he received 20 phone calls, 5 obscene. unless he forgot a couple zeros there, this should encourage everyone to call the phone numbers of spammers they seeposted. to think that 20 lousy phone calls would actually make a difference. hell i get 20 phone calls a week from telemarketers, and this guy is complaining. but nevertheless, kudos to the antispammers out there clearly they are making a difference.

Before you can release a crappy sequel to a good movie/OS, you first must have a good movie/OS. I don't think WinXP qualifies.
