Let's worry and spend money where it really matters, like, I dunno, healthcare, education, etc, etc

And if you want TV so bad fork the $50 dollars or something. Can't afford it and doesn't have a coupon!? Well, if you couldn't bother to pay attention in sonething that was advertised for the last COUPLE OF YEARS.

    - It does when some feature insists in working in a completely weird way and there is no way to change it

    - It does with that weird separation of functions in the top bar

    - "Start Menu" goes on bottom left for a very good USABILITY REASON

    - GTK file dialog COME ON (even though it's not 100% gnome's fault)

In the US the price/(age of the car) graph goes down linearly for a couple of years, then it plunges to almost zero in 10+ years You can buy a 10 year old car in the US for about $1000 or even less, from then on, rock bottom is the limit.

The only issue is size. 2.6 is "significantly" larger than 2.4

Really a non-issue when bigger is cheaper and smaller RAM/ROM chips are being phased out. Just as an example, we developed a product using 32MB RAM but that was phased out (really, you couldn't buy the chips anymore) in favour of 64MB RAM

How much is a 1GB usb drive today again??

I guess you need something like 2MB flash for a 2.6 system (if you really squeeze things). With 16MB/32MB you can do pretty much anything.

In fact, few information theorists would disagree with the visualization of DHTs that made refining and possibly simulating 8 bitarchitectures a reality, which embodies the compelling principles of electrical engineering.
