    No!

    You get "fast-priority" because Google put a server closer to you.

    This is similar to what Akamai does.

    So it's not unfair around the internet, only that google gets faster because it's closer

    Reminds me of a library that had a sticker saying that "books must be returned in the same state of matter"

    So I guess I only would have a problem if I tryed to return the book in liquid or gas form, as long as it's solid I'm good...

    Well, buy any card that supports CUDA (pretty much all offers by nVidia today - except you probably want to stay off the cheapest stuff)

    You can also try running a PS3 + Linux or try the similar offers from AMD/ATI

    The toolchain is binary only and has an EULA that prohibits reverse engineering.

    No it is like this:

    5 minutes to get to the initial boot screen in your underpowered machine running XP/Vista
    15 minutes for Windows to "check policies", "apply corporate settings", etc (or whatever it is called - no, I'm not making this up)
    20 minutes for the POS auto-update software you corp uses to apply the latest undred patches from MS. Doing 2/3 reboots in the process

    Rinse, repeat, etc

    Again, I'm not making this up...

    People do that because the hydraulic system (is not as good as in the US/etc and) gets clogged if you do that.

    For people who are used to it, it's no biggie. Yeah, I know, "excrement ridden", sounds gross, but it's only a matter of taking it, closing the bag and disposing it.

    Actually, NASA scientist were (positively) surprised when they found out that solar panels can be cleaned by "dust devils" that happen with a certain frequency in Mars.

    This has happened at least one time to the rovers.

    So, it's just a matter of waiting, if Spirit runs out of power, no big deal, it will stop working, and then if it gets cleaned, it will come back again.
