    Did you read the article? He does not object to paying taxes on the 25% of his income that comes from New York, but he does object to them taxing 100% of his income, including the portion that he earned in Tennessee.

    Mathematics does not lie, but nowhere does anything say that the coders spent an average of 40 hours per week on their project. I would bet that a lot of these coders had summer jobs as well, and besides, I bet they're all getting paid to do something they enjoy.

    He could only get a 20ft range out of the wiflyer, so you can't really walk around the house and remain connected to it, either.

    It's not $40, the WiFlyer is around $150, the $40 price he mentioned was for an external antenna.

    Of course it is an issue for multi-tuner PVRs as well. If I want to record two things that end at 9:00 and ER starts at 8:59, voila, same problem. It is only not an issue if you have more tuners than you ever use at once.

    Check out goproblems.com. It is set up as problems rather than complete games, but it has something for players at every level.
    Many of the people who comment on the problems really know what they're talking about and don't talk down to those who know less than them, either.

    As much as I dislike Windows XP, I had just the opposite problem.

    I bought one of those thumb-drive shaped netgear wireless cards, and it wouldn't even connect 95% of the time with the netgear supplied access configuration software. Every time I rebooted I had to mess with the thing to get it working again. Ever since I uninstalled that infernal piece of software, I haven't had any problems to speak of with that wireless connection.

    Mine locks up, too. Almost everytime I fully charge it now. I've had it since April 2003. I heard there's a firmware update that might help, but I would have to go to Verizon and beg them to do it for me.

    Your argument is completely flawed. By your logic, no technological advances could possibly happen because they haven't happened before.
