I'm waiting for the Xbox, GameCube, Xbox360 or Revolution version of this or Soul Calibur 4. I didn't like it on the PS2 and I hate the fact that its PS2 Only. Lets just hope this is just temp.
I'm willing to bet RE5 will come to the Revolution

I'm more then willing to bet that RE5 will also show up on the Revolution too.
Right now no 3rd party developers (except Square) have anounced any games for the Revolution. I think Nintendo is not alowing any anouncements untill after SpaceWorld.
I wish Nintendo would let 3rd party groups start announcing games. Keeping all this info hushed is really starting to get me pissed off. Its like Hey look at all the games I can get on the PS3 and Xbox360. But what does Nintendo have announced? NES, SNES and N64 games -_-x
I truthfully see Blu Ray becoming the Next Zip Drive/Tape Backup and not the next home entertainment media.
I think the movie industry is going to wind up backing HD-DVD in the long run first off the Name alone is going to sell HD-DVD to the consumer, everyone knows what a DVD is, but not eveyone knows what the hell a Blu-Ray is. Price also is going to play a major factor and HD-DVD is cheaper. And also the look, HD-DVD looks like a DVD while Blu Ray is in a cart. People are going to buy what they feel safe with and HD-DVD is alot safer then Blu Ray.
But as I said I think Blu Ray is going to become the next Zip Drive or Tape Back up. The amount of storage one of thouse disc has is great and would work great for backing up your PC/Mac. So I see Blu Ray replaceing the Zip Drive or any other storage media.
As for the entertainment industry, Blu Ray may get adapted like how Beta Max was. But its not going to take off in the Home area.
Also incase anyone didn't know, Apple is suporting BOTH HD-DVD and Blu Ray.
US too, Xbox and GameCube have always been fighting for 2nd, but last I knew after Nintendo dropped the GameCube to $99, it took a large lead ahead of the Xbox. I don't know what the $150 price drop did for the Xbox. But I haven't heard MS say that they are now #2.
and GameCube OWNS Xbox in Japan. Hell, the WonderSwan Owns the Xbox in Japan. =P
That Demo was created because Square was going to support the N64 before the feud started between the two companies. It wasn't until Nintendo's former president Hiroshi Yamauchi resigned that Square started supporting Nintendo again.
As for this statement, I think it Square just being nice, I see a snowball chances in hell that Square will ever support the Xbox, they don't like they system at all and this is just their nice way in saying it. I think Xbox fans are just reading to much into it in hopes to see a Square title on the Xbox.
If you want to play Square games get a PS2 or a GameCube. and Truth be told I see Square moving more over to Nintendo next gen, they are very happy to be back working with them. Look at how Square is all over making games for the DS (they all ready have 3 in development) yet they don't have a signal PSP game in the works. And it should be noted that FFVII:AC has NOT been announced for the PSP.
Precents mean dick, you can make a percent mean what ever you want, by saying Xbox went up 80% means nothing. all that could have happen is they went from 1000 units to 1250 units, thats a 80% incress right there. PS2 drop from 28%, hell that could mean they droped from 100,000 to 80,000.

The Xbox has always done better in the UK, but thats because Sony and Nintendo haven't embrased them as much as MS has.

The only reasons the Xbox out sold the PS2 is 1. $50 cheaper 2. Everyone like owns 2 or 3 PS2 by now.

What pretty much happen was MS drooped the price and people said what the hell, nothing good came out this month, might as well pick up this console for the hell of it. Its not because it has good "exclusive" titles, I'm sorry but it has one of the worst selections of "exclusive" games. 90% of the time you can go out and by their "exclusive" titles for the PC for like $10-$20 less with all the same features.
The PS2 will always have the largest selection of REAL "exclusive" titles. All the Xbox is getting are more PC ports and calling them "exclusive" titles and on top of that their not that great too. Take Rare's latest game.
Really how many boring RPGs and stupid FPS can you stand? Come on! Lets see I have a choice of Doom3, Half Life 2, Halo 2, UT2005, Quake 4 and what ever other FPS come out. And I rather play a FPS on the PC where I can uses a mouse and keyboard and also make Maps and Mods for the game. I like nothing more then being able to run around UT2k4 as Bender.
And come on KotoR was not that great, it maybe one of the best Star Wars games I've played in a long time, but it was one of the worst RPGs I've played. KotoR would have made a good MMORPG. The game was so boring and dry and the ending could have been written by a 10 year old. I uses to joke around about how that could be the ending and it turn out to really be it.
And all Ninja Gaiden was, was Shinobi with more blood, it was also another very lage disapointment. I'm glad I only rented it and didn't waste my money buying it.
It's one stupid month people, next month the PS2 will be back on top.
Don't forget people a couple months back the GameCube out sold the PS2 too.
I would recomend Final Fantasy XI (PC and PS2), but it is a bit of a pain to get on the same server =/ but it can be done
Gunbound (PC) is a grat little game, alot like Worms.
Ragnarok Online (PC) and PSO (GCN or XBox) are both pretty cool too.
Truth be told besides FFXI and PSO there are pretty much no Online games on Consoles games that I see as good games for Couples. Unless shes in to FPS.
Also do you both have Cable or Higher? Because One of the HUGE downfalls for Xbox Live is that its Cable+ only which really sucks for any one who is still stuck with a crappy phoneline connection.
Halo runs great on my PC, and I have a AMD XP 2600+ with a 128MB GeForce 3 and 640MB of RAM. and I've also never had any Lag playing Online or Network games.
I'm sorry but I have a bad feeling that the game is going to get pushed back again. It always does, we get closes to the release date then bam, pushed back another 4 months.
On another note, I'm really not to impress by the screen shots It does look a lot like Halo 1. The big deal with Halo 2 for me was Xbox Live. But now with Halo for PC I'm finding myself careing less and less about Halo 2. I have everything I wanted for Halo on my PC and I don't have to pay for Xbox Live.
Whats the point of Halo 2 now that we ahve the PC version?
Flash is a actual program used by sofware developers and not some free program you just download you actually have to pay money for this. So gouping Flash in with ICQ and Real is just dumb.
Also what about AIM and Quicktime hmm.. Last I knew AIM owned MSN Messengers sorry ass.

LOL, Just like how M$ photo editing tool set was going to kill off Photoshop. and Frontpage was going to kill off Go Live and Dreamweaver. oh oh and Movie Maker was going to kill Premiere.
its going to be like all of M$ other software they bundle with the OS only the poorly educated will uses it until they relies its crap and go out and get the real deal stuff. What Professional uses Movie Maker or Frontpage? Really?
All this will do is cause more crappy web pages that are over loaded with Flash.
I'm getting really sick of this activation garbage. First Windows now Adobe. Now I rarely download software off the P2P I only do it if I need something for 1 project or to try it out. But even when I buy the software I still hate having to doing the activation crap. I don't even register my software, all this is doing is forcing you to do it. Users should have a freaken choice if they want to or not and I personally don't!
Thankfully I uses my Mac for work 99% of the time and don't have to deal with this yet. Sadly my PC won't be getting upgraded to the Newest version of Photoshop now.
I have a really similar set up I have a 1.25 Athlon XP with 512MB of RAM and GF2 MX400 video card and the game runs pretty good and I haven't had a single crash. I even have the setting set pretty high (looks just like the Xbox version). So I don't understand how people are having problems with it.
On another note, now that I've played all of Halo I can't see how people could say its that great of a game. its about average at best.
I'll take Tribes 2, UT, UT2k3 or Quake 3 over it any day.
Only a few come to mind.
First: Metroid Prime, this add was just so freaken cool! I got such a rush from it when I saw it on the big screen. I was wishing it was really going to be a movie.
Second: Orignal Super Smash Bro. This one was just to funny. seeing Yoshi, Mario, Pikachu and DK walking threw a feild with happy music playing then all of a sudden their kicking each others butts.
Third: Zelda Wind Waker, there was just something about it that just made this a great ad.
Oh ya, almost forgot I owned that one, maybe its time I asked my friend for my copy back. =P Ya Eternal Darkness is a great game, I still prefer RE over it, but its still a great game none the less.
I also had Star Wars: Rouge Leader but I sold it to a friend who couldn't find a copy. I Can't wait for the sequel the Demo for it is freaken awesome!
Nintendo is doing fine, if anything what they need to do is open their doors a bit more to 3rd party developers, having more 3rd party games would be cool but at the same time I don't want them to go the way of the PS2 and have a HUGE library where most of the games are just crap and you need to sort threw the crap to find the good games.
I personally own Animal Crossing, Beach Spikers, Batman Vengeance, Bomberman Generation, Bloddy Roar: Primal Fury, Capcom vs SNK 2 EO, Darkened Skye, Evolution Worlds, F-Zero GX, Gauntlet Dark Legacy, Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee, LoZ: OoT, LoZ: WW, Lost Kingdoms, Lost Kingdoms 2, Luigi's Mansion, Metroid Prime, PSO, Resident Evil 0, Resident Evil, Resident Evil 2, Resident Evil 3, Skies of Arcadia Legends, Sonic Adventure DX, Sonic Adventure 2 Battle, Sonic Mega Collection, Soul Caliber II, Super Monkey Ball, Super Monkey Ball 2, Super Smash Bros. Melee, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3, Ultimate Muscle, and X-Men Next Dimension.
and I've enjoyed every single one of them. So don't tell me Nintendo has a poor library, on PS2 and PSOne I only own a total of 11 games. Xbox... you know what I have yet to see a game that I want on it that I can just wait for the PC version to come out. (Halo and SW:KotoR) I think thats one reason why I modded it and turned it into a Linux box.
If Nintendo where to just open up a bit more like back in the NES days I think they would be able to do almost as good as the PS2
Capcom is makeing a slew of great games for Nintendo. 2 Zelda titles, Viewful Joe, Mega Man, Resident Evil, Killer 7, PN 03, Gotcha Force, Dead Phenix. and on top of that Auto Modellista, Capcom vs. SNK and Tube Slider.
Nintendo has only lost suport from 2 Over Rated companies that haven't created a decent game in years on any system.

On the poll at the BBC on who should play him, the only one that I could deal with would be David Thewlis. Everyone else just doesn't work for me.

This is really Old news, we've know it was coming to the US sincs E3, hell I've had it pre-ordered from GameStop sinces June.

When you think about it there are very few Online games that are not really violent. You could always do Online boardgames and cards I guess.

Just buy a Xbox and quit shunning it just because the Xbox is owned by Microsoft. Helloooo Bungie is owned by Microsoft too.
