Oh please... Just because some fat kid prances around the place pretending he's someone he's not, and then gets all pissy about it, doesn't mean he deserves anything than to be laughed at.
If the server is outside the USA, it will be blocked.
How do you propose that the US "government" identify every single pornographic website that does exist, and will exist in the future, and block it, and keep this entire system up to date...
And to think, the criticism the "free" nations of the world give China for its Internet censorship...
The BLFS book has excellent sets of instructions for compiling software from scratch, particularly MPlayer. works perfectly for me, and I only really have problems with badly encoded quicktime files, check it out and let me know if you have any success.
So many people saying it's not a problem... I wonder how many other addicts, who can't go 8-10 hours without a drink/smoke/webpage/spanking deny that they have a problem?
Who doesn't have super-traumatic memories of school? Sure it was crap, but it's not meant to be fun, it's school. All these people moaning about how "it's because I'm different". newsflash: you're not different, you're not special, no-one gives a shit if you're good at programming or wear "unique" clothes. Kids, along with everyone else, are nasty little bastards. If you take it all too personally, then you are the problem. Stop sympathising with these murdering little criminals, and putting yourselves in their shoes. Bollocks to 'em, they should have picked up coping skills by now, and if they didn't well boo hoo. I sympathise with the families of those who died, normal kids, not attention seeking little freaks...
I never heard of these learning "disabilities" years ago, but they seem to be very fashionable lately. I am not a doctor, or anything like that, but nine times out of ten it seems like a bit of a scapegoat for people. ADHD seems to be the biggest fake condition, Dyslexia I am not so sure about, but my best friend had it, once she was diagnosed she fought it hard, and can now spell and produce accurate grammar with the best of them. So it's not a massive impediment at all.
If it requires a change of thinking, change your thinking.
I don't know about America, but in England our government is turning schools into fuzzy molly-coddling babysitters where children are no longer "wrong". When I was at school (not too long ago) this sort of thing got drilled into you.
I understand what you're saying, people who don't understand the distinctions between "there, their, and they're" or "your and you're" etc. are pretty much the majority now.
But then again, English is a pretty daft language when all's said and done.
Well to you and me, that would be the obvious thing to do. But where is all the glory and attention if you do that, and I think that's what this is about. People saying "look at me, I r 1337 h4x0r n00b".
The BBC is paid for by licensing. Anyone owning a TV capable of recieving terrestrial BBC transmissions (Almost everyone here) must pay for a Television License. That is how it is funded.
If they were government funded there wouldn't have been all the fuss over BBC vs Government during the whole Iraq thing.
Part of the test is seeing how well web-browsers handle errors, and if they do the correct thing when it encounters them.
This is afaik, of course.

Go on, mod me down but you're all thinking it.

What's so bad about that? I assume anyone who does anything with this is going to know they're not getting paid...
Isn't that what OSS is all about, helping each other for an ego boost^W^W^W the greater good?

Well doesn't this indicate more and more stupid people are being born?
Musing != Amusing
Musing is engaging ones own thoughts...

flamebait much,

http://dosbox.sourceforge.net/news.php?show_news=1 - DOSbox is good for playing all those old-style games like Discworld!
http://scummvm.sourceforge.net/ - And scummVM for all your old lucasarts games too!
Both free software, and really good too...
If they bought all the machines from stores, then they paid for each one, the fact is most people are unaware of it due to bundling.
So why do you care?
Who says they have to host it in a restricted country, like america, at all? They have Headquarters elsewhere and datacenters everywhere AFAIK.
That's odd, my Playstation has a mouse, and has done for the best part of a decade...
Because we're not all already sick of hearing other peoples music blaring from their cars, are we?
Is too much productivity counterproductive?
