That is how this works. It also has the advantage that it doesn't have the radiator outside the case. The radiator sits in a spare pci slot cooling down the water and blowing the hot air right out the case. The biggest problem I have had with cooling video cards is that cases were not designed to move air through the video card and thus the fan just blows air into either the powersupply or another card and then sucking it in agian. It creates hots spots in the case to the point that I can have a 20C temperature gradiant in the case. This fixes that by moving the heat directly outside the case. I don't know where it is getting the fresh air from though. My guess is it is from inside the case which is dissapointing as that will be hotter than outside air but it will still be better than my current settup.
This isn't designed to replace full water cooling rigs which would be better but it does bring water cooling benifits to those that don't feel safe building there own.
CirculaFloor is a group of independent tiles that move in under the person so that they can walk without moving forward. It is actually increadible annoying to use because you can loose your balance easily in the VR environment as everything but your ears think you are moving forward when you are staying still. It also isn't fast enough yet to handle rapid changes in direction. However, I think it is a much better plan than a giant ball.
Bat is the only human tracking system I have seen implemented that actually works.
It takes a lot more than just having a wireless link to do tracking. However, the Bat system was attempting to track location to the cm if you just want to figure out what room someone is then I can think of ways to do it. The general result is that you still need either gps (which is unreliable indoors) or beacons in each room in order to make it work.
However, once implemented the Bat system's researcher discovered that it actually wasn't all that useful a system for just being able to locate a person. The practical applications for human tracking are context aware components and space analysis. Context aware systems are a long way off and space analysis is only interesting to managers and architects so I wouldn't bother putting the time into attempting to implement this.
The article is complaining that the ugly monsters are the ones that will direct you to being evil. However, in a game where there is a good looking anti-hero and the charismatic crime boss they complain that it is trying to lure people to violent behaviour and is therefor bad for our youth.
Well as stupid as it is, even if the OP was joking, girl on girl is, according to christianity, completely fine.
In reality it isn't guy-guy relationships that are the problem it is sodomy. Anal-sex and blowjobs are the evil sins, doesn't matter if it is guy-guy or guy-girl. If 2 guys are going to have a sexual relationship then one of these is required.
The sarcastic comment of the hypocrasy of the religious caste could shown properly with the male infatuation with BJs while yelling about how wrong gay couples are.
It isn't Americans that are stupid. On average the ones I have met are rather intellegent. It is the American media that is stupid.
I spent two months in the US doing a research project and could not watch TV. The random propaganda thrown in at every possible chance drove me insane.
The new paper headlines are scary, everything reads like a tabloid. None of the information is anything I would care about. International news seems nonexistent.
Actually it would be ADD not ADHD (the H is for hyperactive). If you are ADHD then you would have the inablity to do the same thing for 5 hours and thus would need multiple things to interest you for an eavning. ADD is very common, and in my opinion (as one who has ADD), doesn't not need to be, and often shouldn't be, medicated.
It is always nice to know, but doesn't mean you have to do something about it.
Why not use a mat of spheres instead? With some form of tether to keep you in place.
If each was imbedded with a magnet then a network of wires/sensors underneath could determine your direction of travel and speed. Would take up little space and not require having to figure out where the person is going to step next. Only problem is the bumpy surface but that can be fixed with hard soled shoes.
Ummm.... Einstein also brought the atomic bomb to the US as well as his theory of relitivity. Thus causing the deaths of 1/2 million through Fat Man and Little Boy. A little worse that a couple school shootings if you ask me.
Well seeing as SS1 is said to carry a price tage of 20 mil I think it will be used to pay of the debts:)

Not to be a flame, but is internet anonymity realy all that good? I see very little gain in it. Hell there is piles of things (like pgp sigs) that attempt to remove the anonymity problem. People have a desire to privacy which doesn't make all that much sense.... seriously, it isn't like you have anything to hide!!
I can't see any problems with directly linking IP's with MAC adresses. Allowing you to know exactly which computer things are coming from. There are still ways to change your MAC adress but I think that those could be stopped.
Using stalkers as an example of problems doesn't work either because the stalker would be easily tracable and blockable as well.

The wording on this bill is so broad that you can sue the creaters of ARPANET. The intent seems to be simillar to patent laws. Everyone is going to break it all the time and most will be ignored. However, it gives large corps that desire it legal right to sue anyone they want.
Soon everything is going to be illegal and it will all be about who can afford the better lawers..... or maybe that has already happened.
$10000 is not very much. The guy is 21 and thus has probably been collecting CDs for about 8 years. Lets say that it is costing $2000 a year to fund the music collection. In most places in the US it is about 8-15k for a year of school. Housing is about $400 a month. $2000 to spend on cd's isn't much if that is what you like buying. Personally spend most of my money on hardware. I spend about 3-4k a year on components. As a student this is far less than my tuition, housing, or food expences and it the only other thing I spend my money on. Thus I have no problem affording it.
As for boycotting the RIAA it isn't working. They aren't getting the idea that what they are doing is wrong. They are proving that they need to do it more. Hurting there bottom line is just going to make the more agressive. You stop buying from them all together and they will become like SCO and be forced to live only as a law suit buisiness. Not what I want to see happen.
An important note is that when mapping the 4d surface to a 3d surface the 3d surface is not a sphere but instead a toroid.

For browsers IE has the floor because it is intergrated into the windows kernel.
All activeX web cases go through IE, outlook is uses the MFC IE calls. Thus you can't get away from it while using windows.
So you have to run another browser in conjunction to IE. Too much trouble to be worthwhile for most people.
There is also the fact that if you phone tech support and say I can't connect to the internet they will only help you set up IE, you have problems with something else you search through forums and man pages. This pissed off a few people I converted.
Other products like Gimp, OpenOffice.org, and GAIM are seen as "linux programs" and users are trained that running on windows and running on linux is mutually exculsive. You have to scroll through the homepage to find that GAIM actually runs on windows. People I have sent get confused with all the excess stuff on the page, they just want a product ad and a download link.
Open source doesn't embrace windows thus windows doesn't embrace open source. I convert one at a time but it is a hard task when you get stuck as tech support.
There aren't any true cemocracies. The US is a republic.
The freedom of speech law in the US is that you are allowed to say anything as long as it doesn't lead to a negitive situation. You can't run in to the middle of the street and yell I hate rednecks and blacks.
In Canada the law is that their is a complete freedom of all information that ins't excepted through other laws. Like the Hate law or privacy laws.
These are paraphrased from a law class I took 4 years ago. Research yourself if you want the right information.
Look at the density and then it makes more sense goolge
(5e30 pounds) / (((((2 500 miles)^3) * 4) / 3) * pi) = 8.31343401 x 10^09 kg / m3
* (1000 kg/m^3 / g/cm^3) = 8.3134 x 10^12 g/cm^3
FYI, dimond has a density of 3.52g/cm^3.... I don't think this is diamond anymore.
But then they would be sued for talking about people being sued for holding down shift keys. After all that is distributing a means of curcumvention too!!

The key to entertainment through science is the idea that you are learning something new. Thus for the show to be entertaining it must be something you don't already know and actually be able to teach you it. This is very hard to do.
Discovery and TLC realized this and resorted to the lowest denomiator seeing as there are a lot more people without degrees.

How do you put up with it?
ISPs can read mail. It is rather impossible to stop them from being able to read plain text data. It is a matter of if they choose to not do so.
If I placed a confidential document on the street with no protection can I arrest you for reading it?
Allowing Email to be read would help prevent spam and other illegal activities.
If you want to protect your Email you can encrypt it using one of the many available free applications/protocals. Which I recommend you do anyways!
