That's ridiculous. Do you even have a source for that? 399, and you don't even say what currency. Dollars? Euros? AppleBuc- wait, it COMES WITH GLITTER? Dammit, why haven't I heard about this?! There's probably a line outside the Apple store already! I'd better head down there.
This is all wildly inaccurate, but I remember reading a while (15 years?) ago that it cost $1,000/lb. to launch something into space. Add inflation, fuel prices, landing that something somewhere, etc. and come up with a random number. If Mars were made entirely out of oil, I'm sure we'd be tempted, but oil, like many other fluids, can be heavy and stupid to transport. It would certainly help building/running things on the ground there though.
With exception of Fox News, I think it's generally accepted that most of the media has a "liberal" bias.
This kind of statement gets bandied around a lot, it seems, and it strikes me as truly bizarre. With the exception of conservatives in America, the rest of the world recognizes that mainstream American media has a conservative bias.
Yeah well...when I was flying, we didn't have motors, or wings! We had to walk uphill, in the snow (important for the landing bit) to the edge of a cliff with nothing but a parachute, made of twine and burlap cloth, in case the feathers we were holding in our hands didnt work, AND WE LIKED IT.
But they hadn't invented photography yet, so it's a moot point.
to all the beta testers out there. You know who you are! We appreciate all your hard work, and when we install SP3 several months from now, when it's ready for release, we'll be sure to think of you sucke^Wkind folks.
Seriously, the best thing you could have done was start a petition and have like 3 people sign it. I would show the people in charge that no one cares about him.
Mi vostro es vostro vos... whatever. Anyway, it seemed like most of the Dell Small Business lines have a matte choice. It's amazing to go into a big box store and not see a single non-glossy option. I'd consider it - maybe - with a desktop screen, but for a laptop, glossy seems idiotic. Any kind of situation where you'd have constant moving reflections (like a train on the LIRR, say) would just drive you nuts. (And by "you," I mean "me.")
I went with the matte. It's comforting, and traditional.:-)
The American girls who won the gold and silver? Those American girls?
Is Wayne Brady gonna have to choke a bitch?
When your pretend wife is faking fireworks, you know there's something wrong!
Then the gov't will back it all up for you! Easy.

Well, better make sure the Republicans gain control of the house, so they can sort all this out!

Being a compassionate conservative means your heart goes out to the losers, but you don't let it keep you up at night.

Got some links for that? Not that I'm doubting you, but if I believed everything I read on Slashdot...

Any good admin/marriage knows if you have physical access, you might as well have root/admininistrator access.
Just got up, and that's how I read that. I keep saying that to her, but she still says no!
That works really well when you need a reference for your next job.
From what I am seeing, this looks much more like the fault of the openssl team.
Yeah, those bastards! I also blame the ALSA team, the Samba team, and the New York Knicks.

Oh, right. Well, having a job sucks, I guess. :-) And if there are lawyers involved, somebody's getting screwed...
Isn't that the whole point of having an office in the first place?

Your ideas are intriguing to me and I wish to subscribe to your newsletter.

OK, that part's done. Now what?
