    I'm not saying Wolfram can't pull this off, but I've been programming for a long, long time and mastering the pesky "nitpicking complexity" is one thing good programmers do very well.

    I wish him well, but I remain skeptical. I hope the result doesn't devolve into "click here and here and here."

    We knew an attack was coming and where, the question is, did we know when? Only Roosevelt and his top brass know that, and I'm sure they took it to their graves.

    If top brass Admiral Husband Kimmel, Commander in Chief, U.S. Fleet and Pacific Fleet, knew Japanese plans beforehand, then he must have been the most surprised person at Pearl Harbor when a .50 caliber round grazed him during the attack.

    So NASA is a reasonable expense, if you have the money.

    I like NASA's achievements, but we don't have the money. We are about $17,000,000,000,000 in the hole, the debt is getting larger every day, and there is no plan to get out of the hole. About 43 cents of every Federal dollar spent goes to pay off the interest on this debt. The USA is doomed if we continue on this path.

    But the strategic (not economic) value of the Moon cannot be overemphasized. We MUST get there, and stay there, if for no other reason than to keep others from getting too far ahead of us. Whoever controls the moon pretty much controls the Earth. Never forget that.

    Other than Robert Heinlein, what is your documentation for "Whoever controls the moon pretty much controls the Earth"?

    In 2002 I switched over to LaTeX and took an oath never to create another Word document as long as I lived. So far, so good!

    LaTeX has a big learning curve, but it creates beautiful documents and is math/science friendly.

    Yes, if you know how to use it. Signal and power on one wire pair and the wire pair can be really, really long if necessary. Not too shabby.

    Wow, where did all this uncalled for hatred come from? If you had bothered to read the article, you would have noticed it is US-centric and mentioned US-based groups such as US Army, DHS, DOD, FAA, GAO, MITRE, NASA, NAS, USAF, and possibly others.

    I can only vote for US representatives and congressmen and will only vote for those who are against the unlimited spying that will come from drones.
