The mentioned theory about "basic traits of all languages are hard-wired in the human brain" have been reject centuries ago. anyone with a clue (wich is NOT the case with journalists) knows that the language developed by these kids only show that deaf people can be influenced by gestures and signs generated by non-deaf people. period.

if we're not to use open software and open standards because we would be alone in case of a patent trouble, then how came they, the software giantER, being backedup in a trial by w3c?
shouldn't it be the oposite, since open standards|software doens't have who stands for them?
this reminds of a scene in a movie, probably woody allen's... where the son of the main characther was republican... an avid republican. Then in some plot twist they found out that the boy has a coagulum in his head, and after it's removal, he becames a democrat.

i wouldn't do this but you got me to. Open source is not filantropy. VERY VERY VERY few people do it with the objective to help others _directly_. Helping others is just am _indirect_ consequence.
I do it because i have already coded something that I needed, then i have no trouble letting it go back to the people that make it possible for me to code it simplier (i used their tools, after all). And i also have done it for my very own ego (also, looks good on the resumé:)
if the aim is to stop the shrinking of the market... and the market is 60%+ made of programers... how exactly instaling a driver that keeps them from running debuggers on they very own machine will make they more likely to buy the crap game?
