    i had a terrabyte once. When i was going to save my file, linux said "can't do chief. it's bigger than 2GB". Then i just thrown all the drives into the garbage can and now i'm happy with a 2GB HD since it's all i need.

    no dropline gnome here, instaled 9.1 in the desktop and sound/video/bells and whistles were all there.

    BUT, with slackware 10.0... i had to manualy configure sound... Slack 10 is all broken!

    On a side note: support for internation keyboards is broken in slackware 10.0 (i just tested brazillian ABNT2) wich worked fine in 4, 7, 8, 9 and 9.1

    ok, i can understant that the device can send some signal to point out the postition of the officer... but how the hell does the officer has the claimed access to the "huge crime data bank" as all articles suggest?

    Is it transmited to his mind? does it have a speaker?

    also, if it's unremoveable, how does the officer know if its really turned off if he gives up his carrer? will he be tracked forever?

    besides that, what about the security of those things? would the mafia came up with a device that detects policeman and avoid them?

    if a windows box runs for more then a week without a reboot it can only mean that you skipped you'r daily windowsupdate fix.

    ha! you probably have a dozen worms by now (and if you had had you windowsupdate fix, you'd have only 2 of them)
