take yourself and your little bitch friend out of my store
You told this to someone who was about to hand you money for a CD that he was about to legally purchase?
No wonder you're going out of business. Good riddence.
RIAA Okay, so you want to actually pay for your music, huh?
Customer Yep! Here's my money $$$
RIAA All right, slap the cuffs on him Officer. He's obviously trying to our steal music, even though he's paying us for it.
Putting DRM on music seems to me as though the RIAA was actively and publicly declaring every customer they have a Thief and a Criminal.
So why does the RIAA treat its customers like Criminals anyway? If you're willing to pay for your music instead of download it for free, the RIAA should be bending over backwards to give you what you want. They should be kissing your feet!!
What if Wal-Mart started accusing each and every customer they had of stealing AFTER they had already purchased their goods and had a receipt. They would go out of business pretty damn fast, is what would happen.
The RIAA needs to learn that a good business is supposed to cater to their customers... not treat them like criminals.
I was under the impression that KOffice was Open Office, tweaked to run as smoothly (and more importantly, match the style of KDE) as possible within KDE itself. I use GAIM inside of KDE, never got used to Kopete.

My only problem with SuSE 9.2 was that it dosen't have 3D Acceleration Support for Radeon 9800's... it has it for 9000's, 9200's, X300's, X600's, X700's, and X800's but not 9800's!! So I took the 9000 out of my windows machine and put it in my SuSE machine, and put the 9800 in my Windows machine! yaay.
Your attempting to lecture to someone who is writing this message to you using Linux (yeah, really harder to use than Windows) and owns a Liscensed copy of Oracle (oooh, sooo many more features... yeah right). You may laugh at Linux powered routers. However, I don't think you realize that all a Cisco Router is, is a "computer" running the Cisco IOS (inter-operating system). Nearly identical "computers" are used along with embedded Linux to form THE LARGEST COMPETITORS TO CISCO ROUTERS IN THE ENTIRE WORLD! You may also fail to realize that Embedded Linux is used in DVD Players because its EMBEDDED... the same is true of the Routers. You may also be unaware that Pegasos II's running Linux (also known as "The Open Desktop") is being used as routers for T-Mobile and Freescale Semiconductor (hmm, interesting).
Wow, the competitors to Linux in every single field Linux and OSS excels in (Microsoft: Linux itself, Oracle: mySQL and other OSS databases, Sun: Linux powered super computer "clusters", Cisco: Linux powered routers, Dell: They only use Windows!) are telling me that Linux suxx0rz! so they must be right, naturally.
Good Thinking. I'm already arranging an international ban on any form of attack on the state of "Iowa". It must be insured that James T. Kirk is born, and protecting Iowa at all costs is key to his being born.
Is there much point to using Netscape since it uses the same engine as Mozilla and Firefox and Camino?
Netscape was more relevent when it based on the old Mosaic engine because that made Netscape unique. I'm sure they could revamp the old Netscape engine if they wanted to, they would just have to put some money into it... and we all know AOL will never do that. Why use Netscape to browse with the Gecko engine, when you can use a more streamlined and optimized Firefox browser. Firefox was designed by people who know the secret tricks to really get the best out of Gecko, because they are the same programmers who actually made Gecko!!
I still keep a copy of Netscape 2.0 Gold - does everything Internet Explorer can do.
I've gone to only buying music that has no ties to the RIAA. www.magnatunes.com is a good source to download music. and www.riaaradar.com is a good way to find non-RIAA CD's from Amazon.com.
Firefly has no business being mentioned in the same breath as such great shows as ST:TNG, Babylon 5, and Battlestar Galactica. Firefly was a horrid show which replaced a relatively good show with better ratings than American Idol!! aka. Dark Angel. They canceled it because it cost too much per episode, not because of ratings. Firefly on the otherhand had horrid ratings and was a horrid show.
The SciFi Channel is excited about Battlestar Galatica being their highest rated show with 3 million viewers?
Star Trek: Enterprise was cancelled because it had only 2 million viewers.
Please save Enterprise, SciFi Channel, I beg of you!
Curently, my Friday night consists of watching: Enterprise, SG-Atlantis, Battlestar Galatica, and SG-1. Back-To-Back, 4 hours of non-stop SciFi! I will be very upset to only have 3 hours of non-stop SciFi!
I call BS. Originally, there were just 3 channels: ABC, NBC, and CBS = (All the people in America)/3 = Lots and Lots for each channel. Then add Fox and PBS. (All the people in America)/5 = quite a damn lot of people for each channel.
Now in comes Cable TV. When I first got cable, the highest channel available was 50 (including HBO and Showtime, but not the 2 porno channels on 98 and 99). (All the people in America)/50 = A significant number of people per channel. Regular cable maxed out at around 80 channels in my area. (All the people in America)/80 = Still a significant number of people per channel.
Today, I have digital cable which goes up to channel 999, including multiple movie channels without commercials PLUS hundreds of "On-Demand" movies and TV shows commercial free which change on a regular basis. (All the people in America)/(999+Hundreds of on Demand Products) = Not all that many people per channel.
The article is saying that most of the undersea "damage" occured at very great depths. I'm worried that some black smoker habitats were wiped out. It would probably take years for them to re-establish. It'll probably be a while before they find out the results of so much land shifting underseas.
Since it was probably a Mac user who had the film all these years, he probably didn't want to admit that he had to actually WAIT for the Mac to catch up to the Amiga. So he just waited until he "thought" everyone forgot that Amiga's had video capability before Mac's did.

So... THIS is how one of the Voyager spacecraft becomes a super-powerful entity and we have no clue whats going on when it comes back to kill us all.
If only we had kept monitoring the transmissions from the Voyager spacecraft, we'd be able to tell when it starts its homicidal rampage.
Yes! But only very very old spyware. Its hard to find websites that still try to load you with such ancient spyware using um... Javascript?
It took you until 7.0 to switch to IE? Netscape started being based on Mozilla after 4.0

The most productive computer environment lacks an internet connection and any video games... but where's the fun in that?
How do you get Firefox to like about its identity? I already have AdBlock and use FlashClickToPlay.

Only the 20GB regular iPod remains, does this mean they're phasing out the regular iPod?
It its comprised of large amounts of Dark Matter, how can they tell that its spinning?

This: is all you need to know. Please get in the loop.
I wonder what kind of effect this damage has had on things like Coral Reefs and deep ocean habitats surrounding black smokers?
Quagmire: ohhhh riiiiight giggity diggity giggity!
