Bump.
War needs to stay personal.
My other favorite quote on war by Mr. Einstein
"I don't know how man will fight World War III, but I do know how they will fight World War IV; with sticks and stones."
Japan issue blamed on greedy business, government, lazy contractors blah blah blahh blah.... Cost of nuclear blah blah. Nuclear bad because of dead fish and contaminated land, nuclear bad blah blah.
There was a fucking EARTHQUAKE.
A BIG one.
There was a fucking TSUNAMI.
A BIG one.
Shit happens and sometimes it's no ones fault.
Even typos and bad grammar.

Don't get me wrong, I think Becks "cheese has slid off the cracker". 10 seconds of his show makes me want to take a shower, but please (not just with him)link where he/she is/been wrong.
Why is 4G greater good? The country suffers from only 3G?
I have a very comfortable income, having never used 4G.
I fund libraries and thier internet access.
I fund buses that make trips to those libraries.
I fund vehicles for people that can afford $40,000 cars.
I fund cell phones for people making $27,000.
I fund people to not make corn.
I fund people that make fuel out of corn.
I fund mexico not to sell drugs.
I fund the rehab for the folks down the street that buy drugs from Mexico.
I fund Egypt in hopes of a democracy.
I fund Israel to protect themselves from Egypt.
I live in Ohio and fund social programs in Alaska.
I fund retirement for employees of public companies I have never worked for nor purchased from.
I'm up to my ass in greater good. I'm going broke on all my "investments".
Hopefully we can offset the cost of all the above with a 4G network.
Finding gear on the "market" is ala EQ1. 500 toons standing around in the market area. Have to go to each one and "browse" and hope they have the gear your looking for. I spent just close to an hour last night looking for one piece of gear (no luck).
To make level 6 gear, you need items from level 20 crafters...
There is no "bank". So you are very limited on space.
Can't transfer items from one toon to another.
No mail system.
Tab always selects you first.
Graphics kick ass, no doubt.
Been an avid gamer and participated in most Beta's through launch since EQ1. This game is two gens behind at least.
If your doing cost per gig, okay.
If your doing cost per I/O, SSD is actually a tad cheaper.
Typical 300g 10k RPM drive will net you about 150-180 IOPs.
SSD will be ~70X.
A widget is not worth $20. It's worth EXACTLY what your willing to pay for it.
If I'm willing to pay $19, and your willing to pay $20 your not being "cheated".
I'm a Rebublican, and here to help.
If there is Federal/World policy to be made because of the results, be wary.
I'm a fairly honest person, but if someone walked up to me and said, "We want to use your credentials to lend credibility to this rediculous speculation, but we'll give you $10,000,000."
I'm in...
VMware instructor said he joined Amway just to get the medical benefits. Third hand so not sure it's doable.
(he didn't try to recruit me or anything...)
DAMN, 630 comments and counting, some very passionate on a sysrq key. Seriously?
Skrew Haiti, economy, jobs, and the hot chick from accounting, did you hear what the M.F.'s are doing to keyboards?
You assume the US and China have an economic goal. China could easily turn it into a VERY expensive weapon. Never got any money back for a cruise missle either. Don't assume that money means financial.
If you have a responsibility in place (i.e. shutting down users/companies/countries), you have to have a method to execute it.
You need access to the networks you intend to shut down or access to the upstream infrastructure.
I haven't used on personal equipment, but on EMC DMX 4, we have some databases that were suffering 15-27ms response times due to read misses. SSD drop that down to 2ms. Another interesting idea is using them for swap/paging space. Haven't toyed with yet, but should be interesting.
This bugs the shit out of me. The Government doesn't have any money. They are spending mine. The government spending money = chips at a casino, it's not personal anymore, it's just plastic chips.
Just for the sake of argument, we know about.000000005% of how space/time works. Anyone that says, "impossible" needs to clarify that with the word "today".
It's the 30's not the 20's.
I really like the "rebo0ted".
"undisclosed glitz" (not that is funny, i don't care who you are.
Lets hear it for first to report!!! Get it out quick, get it out early, we'll just change the website if it's DEAD WRONG. That frustrates the hell out of me.
"Owners of Microsoft's 20GB Zune music players are reporting widespread failures today after some still-undisclosed glitz caused them to lock up at midnight Pacific time. Users said the units spontaneously reboOted and then froze during the startup process."

I would agree. The test was not extensive by any means.
1 host hooked into a DMX-4 is a little over kill and not a real world test.
My biggest point that I wasn't very clear on, is that it will be silly to build a disk group made up of 100% SSD. I disk group (say 300g 15k's) with 1 SSD disk added is a HUGE peformance bump on that group.
Take the Matrix and some Star Trek movies, put them in a blender, done. There was nothing new in this movie.

Give him a call or shoot him a text, let him know we're broke.. Thanks.
Good call. The whole "education" thing escapes me...
