They took detailed measurements, pictures, etc of all the sets before destroying them. It will help them recreate the sets. And the other stuff like Pilot was put into crates and sent off to storage.
This is the first "right" thing Sci-Fi has done since cancelling Farscape. Every other series they've brought on like Mad Mad House or whatever it is, is crud. Hopefully this is a sign that Sci-Fi is learning from it's past mistakes, but I doubt it.
Overall 5.2-RELEASE is disappointing from a desktop perspective, but it's still more advanced than any community GNU/Linux distribution that you'll find, especially in the area of AMD64 support.
Umm, no. SuSE has the best AMD64 support and I dare say Gentoo has second or third best. And in my own experience with FreeBSD 5.2, I find that linux is a much more viable desktop/server OS than freebsd.
It would be kickin' rad if they figure out a way to replace the mac os window manager (I do not think of os x as anything more than a window manager, imho) with KDE.
There are benefits across all areas.
1. More Stable
2. More Scalable
3. None of that annoying cursor lag when you have 100% processor usage.
4. Lots and lots of tuning.
5. Too much stuff to name. It's really an all across the board improvement of 2.4.
Using the ebuilds posted on gentoo's bugzilla, I can NOT use icc 8 as a drop in replacement.
Attempting to compile 2.6.0-test11 results in screens of errors after executing 'make bzImage'.
If this was supposed to be able to compile the linux kernel or be a drop in replacement, it fails. Horribly.
.. the most likely to actually produce something worthwhile to the rest of us. If there is no benefit to anyone, why bother? That should be glaringly obvious to anyone.
There comes a time when you must share to gain. This is the nature of p2p. No sharing, no speed. Besides you don't seem to be well informed about bittorrent. Get one of the limiting clients and you can set your upload to 15kb/s or whatever you want (except 0) and you will still get good speeds.
BTW, quit being a leech and a troll.
Did anyone actually read this review? The conclusion had some scores that looked totally whack unless I'm interpreting things wrong.
Using pixel shader 1.1 @ 1024x768 @ 3.2ghz a 9800 pro got 27 FPS. The FX 5900 got 24 fps.
Now same pixel shader version except the processor is at 2.4ghz and the resolution is 1600x1200. The 9800 pro got *55* fps. The FX5900 got *31* fps.
Why is it this game is performing BETTER on a slower processor at a higher resolution? Is something whack here or am I interpreting this wrong?
SCO claims the Half-Life 2 Source code contains System V code. Darl McBride is expected to announce a new licenscing scheme later today. Anyone that has viewed Half-Life 2 movies, screenshots, or other material concerning it will be required to pay a $699 license to have viewed such materials.
what about the volters? You know, those nifty little cables that have a wall jack on one end and a plug of your choice on the other end. It's very satisfying to plug one of those into some random ethernet port and watch the ensuing chaos.
Why not? I can resale software. Whats the difference with music? There may not be a little sheet of paper that's supposed to be a license that comes with the song like a software purchase would come with but so what?
When all you've got is an AC-130 (or whatever they were in) everything looks like an insurgent.
If his legs get bluejacked does this make him the worlds first remote controlled human?
to the phrase "spin up the FTL drive."
FreeBSD is scalable, dependable, and very high performance. It's also easy to maintain since people didn't make the distribution without a plan.

Has firefox gotten the mozilla improvements yet?
If you had bothered to actually look at Gentoo's bootscripts, you would have noticed there is no python. It is all bash based.

Anyone got a changelog for this? I couldn't see one linked on the front page of kde.org or in the link on the article.
Don't you mean this:
You have an Intel, right?
Remember recent Intel processors run hotter than AMD processors!

IRC also tends to be a very easy way to access all kinds of illegal stuff. As well as bait for DDoS and other annoying attacks.
The artist doesn't really own the song. The recording company does.
First the 12 year old and now this. I wonder what the third strike will be? Perhaps someone inside the RIAA? That'll be a PR disater.
I just tried this with some co-workers! They still don't believe it.
