Actually the DS Lite is only the second revision of the DS, correcting the complaints about the console's first iteration. Much like GBA SP did for the GBA in fact. The DS micro on the other hand will be really small, so much so that Nintendo will discover a whole new market of small simians who enjoy mobile gaming on two screens between flinging crap at each other. Unfortunately they will be beaten by Microsoft's handheld which will tap into the lucrative Gorilla market, which lets face it, is so much larger.

I use Pages as a simple word processor for writing my college essays on. With the inspector thing on it gives me all the formating options I need and presents them faster then Word. Whats wrong with Pages again?
Have you played xbox live as it is now? It's full of whiny snot nosed children with bad mouths, attitudes and no sense of humour. I hope for your sake you arent one of them. It's almost as if something about the system attracts these irritating brats to the xbox, maybe its the game lineup, maybe its the marketing but whatever it is it makes xbox live unbearable... Now Im not really on Nintendo's side with this one either, I foresee all sorts of potential problems with their marketing etc but my experience of social interactions on Halo 2 are 'TAKE THAT NOOOBZPAWNZGAYORZ!!!!!!'. This hardly gets me excited about their next offering...

Two things really, firstly 'Your mileage may vary, of course.' is an arrogant statement to make, youre hardly saying I respect youre reasons for liking this show, its more like saying (excuse me for being boorish here) 'You're mother is a whore but some people may enjoy her.' Secondly I also don't care whether or not you like the show, what I care about is your derision of the show based on it's darker themes. I just wanted to point out that by saying 'Man, this show bums me out, how can you watch it?' you sound like a moron.
Hmmm that attitude to culture is very narrow, I mean before television people saw plays, films, read books and listened to music in order to relax. Just think how many great works of culture would have been lost if people thought in the same way you do. There is always a place in culture for switching youre brain off and setting youre emotional response to minimal but to deride a series for not doing so just because it doesnt appeal to you is...boorish. Of course the best entertainment is that which works humour into dark themes (see Shakespeare amongst many others). But as a professional writer you knew that, right?
Do you ever forget to put the handbrake on? Seems a better analogy. I mean cars are so badly designed because every time you stop you have to put the handbrake on. And who can be bothered fidling around looking for a handbrake? I mean surely it would be sooo easy to have the car detect when you would like the handbrake on, using some sort of thought detection system...Do you see how stupid your complaint is yet?

I dont need to fantasise about stealing code or anything else because I have the whole part and parcel, a fully paid for Powerbook (although partially by the govt. but a free lunch off of them is a totally different story!) It was just a joke, or rather an amusing anecdote pointing out that an unofficial release of x86 Tiger might alter the computer market forever and benefit Apple.
