    Running Nvidia in Twinview trats two monitors as 2 desktops; kind of. I you maximize an app on that monitor it fills that monitor only. Set it up for my boss last week. Nvidia GeForce 7600GT w/ 2 19" LCDs

    Depending on who you ask, the KJV Bible is either not a group effort, but a group hackjob, or the work of a single supreme deity working through mortal man.

    I personally think of it as an older version of Aesop's fables, but in no way a product of Group Intelligence.

    I'll go along with the others though. The Geneva Convention stuff might fit there as well.

    I don't think it is an issue of why do we need ads.

    If the TV stations thought they could, they would run ads 24/7. The shows are only there to get people to watch the ads.

    Ads are the sole revenue stream for TV stations. They will NEVER go away. EVER.

    To be honest, the only problem I had with this RC is: after being on for 3 days, it went to sleep and never woke up. (power save). After a hard reset, the registry was corrupt or missing and repair did not work.

    On the plus side, the XP installation on the same box could access the Vista files.

    I havent had the time to reinstall and test further, but...

    if Nintendo pushed that usage of "Wii" hard enough and often enough (given the state of the schools) In 5 years kids will have forgotten that "we" should be spelled "we" instead if "wii". A generation after that, wii will all be spelling we as wii. Then other words will follow along. The old waii of spelling way will fall by the waiiside. Etc.

    Ummm. If you could restore the mind's state at any given point, the current state would be lost.(unless it was recorded first). So if you injected your state of mind at, say, 7 years old; you would essentially be that five year old with any experiences past that unavailable ( in a 20,30,40 year old body as well), or at worst gone. Groovy. So then you restore your previuos state bringing you back to whtever 'NOW' was when you saved state prior to loading the "7_year_old_me.memx" state. Whatever you experienced in the "7_year_old_me" would be lost. As such, there is no insight to be gained. I can see no way that the ability to do such a thing could ever be useful.

    "On September 13th, a 25-year-old man walked into Dawson College in Montreal and went on a shooting spree that took at least one life" IF this was a videogame inspired shooting I would have imagined that the guy would have a better kill rate. Perhaps "spree" was fewer shots fired than I would have guessed. OTOH, Since his frag score was pathetic, maybe the violence was because he sucked at that game and had some violent type of inferiority complex. OTOOH, I would say that he was just a kook.
