Nearly anything can be related something if you look far enough. While i don't disagree that there is a link, you could also link reading, cooking, to this "obesity epidemic". So lock your doors and shut the blinds, if you're kids aren't growing up to be sports jocks they could be apart of that "obesity epidemic"
A trade in service could help switch people, however it removes a portion of the game play. If tons of people started off at 1/5 of the max level, they've missed out on the content for whats below them, and possibly those challanges. The other issue would be to determine what one person has, as i doubt they would let another company look at the data. I suppose you would have to send in you're account, where they would determine what is worth how much, erase it, and transfer you.
There are a few games that have a referall option that people can earn free time if they refer people. However, I don't know how well this works, since many people think referalls is a little cheesy, and similar to other "referall pyramid schemes" that have been around.
t's a little off topic, but does anyone know if you require a CC for the 30 day trial that comes in with the game? I'm still waiting for my CC, but I would like to play while I wait...
One thing that has interested me is the hardcover book of art that comes in the CE, and the 10 day trial you can give to a friend. Is the CE art book worth while do you know?
This particular case isn't about software, it's about hardware. I've seen these around, you plug them into your computer, and then plug the keyboard into them, and they are stored on the device.
They've been around for a while...

I think an off switch would defeat the purpose. Poor drivers who acknowledge that they are poor drivers, will turn it off, while drivers who know they obey the traffic laws will more likely keep them on.
That's really interesting. I wish north american gaming would take an approach, not nessesarily a free trial, but at least allow you to play the 30 day trial that comes boxed without registering w/ a credit card. I'm looking forward to WOW, as blizzard seems to know what they are doing, and are probably going to be releasing time cards.
I remember the Realm Online, that game has been around for ages, one of the first graphical ones ever released, initially by Sierra, and it's still around. I find it interesting from the Q&A from the Cities of Heroes put on the front page of slashdot earlier (I don't feel like linking) states there are no "blockbuster" MMORPG, and in the graph it shows Lineage at the highest currently, with over 2.25 mil.
In earlier levels of Halo 2 there are times when they go out ahead of you. When I was in the city level, I tried to hop into the gunner seat of the warthog, but had to pick up the phone. The AI took off with the warthog and started engaging the enemy along the path that you should have taken with them.
I enjoy the show, although they all seem to follow the same recipe, that is everyone denies everything untill they have a minute info, then they give in a little, then spill the beans at the end of the show.
As for forensic in a jury, What a juror must understand is more about it, and truths from the popular show. Jurors are human too, so they will relate, or be swayed by personal oppinions, like strong family bonds, or a strong bond to their children.
I've always enjoyed the 2d animation over the 3d stuff. I particularly like the old disney cartoons, that are between 4 and 10 minutes. Between that time and now, the cartoon's seem to have been dumbed down, or swapped for 3d moveis (which aren't always that good. Brother Bear and Lilo and Stitch were well done though.
... AOL, after reporting to cut off some of their high speed internet, has reported they have acquired a contract for "lightning speed dialup" for the military.
That is really stupid. It would be like Lucas Arts going after Sony for someone with LukeSkywalker as a name in EQ. What gets me is, the people naming their characters off of Marvel shows how much those people enjoy Marvel's characters, and are probably the ones more likely to go out and see their piss poor movies, and read their comic books.
I've seen these people in malls here in Canada. This isn't one guy pirating a couple games for himself or a friend, these are kiosks selling them for $70.00.
It's possible to put a cartoon, or comedy clip in 1 minute or several minute, I know the old disney cartoons are about 5 or 6 minutes. That wouldn't be too bad, but the size of the screens are so small that it is rather useless to watch anything that long. Games are one thing, since most are pretty simple, but there's alot of crap that is in a scene, unless you are doing closeups of someone's nose.
Movie costs are high enough as it is. This technology, and call center costs will ultimately be pushed onto the consumer. As mentioned, movie recordings from a camcorder are utter crap. The sound is muffled, the colors often out of preportion, and you get all the audience crap, only worse. A bigger threat would be the dvd rips, that come out before the movie is released in theaters, or while it is in theaters.
I've enjoyed the game so far, and some pretyt interesting parts to the game, but as some have said there are some big beefs.
For starters, there are graphical hicups in the cut scenes, where the textures or even the models take a second to load. There is no excuse for letting that through, and really gets annoying. The AI around allied vehicles kind of stinks too. It takes some time to get into a vehicle if the AI is controlling it, and if you are the shooter, sometimes it's movements stink. I've also had it where the AI takes off for battle before me in a vehicle, so I miss part of the action.
As for multiplayers, I haven't tried it fully yet, but one thing I can say is I wish that they put in some AI for multiplayer games.
I chose not to read past the spoilers since i just got to earth in the game. I 100% agree with you that the Beta testers did a shit show when it came to the cut scenes, with the textures/lighting not appearing till a few seconds into it, and models doing the same.
The dual wielding is cool, but odd, since you have two seperate buttons, one for each weapon.
One buff I have, is the lack of new weapons, destructions of old ones (no more scope on the pistol). As for multiplayers, I kinda wish they added multiplayer bots, for those who can't play system link or XBOX live.
Like many games on release I bet that WOW will have some issues. My exams are over mid December, followed by winter break. Sounds like a good time for me.
An international transaction done by a computer. Every online store would pretty much be guilty of this, as would all offline stores who use a computer to send out their merchandise. This is byfar one of the worst ones yet.
All sorts of shops use recommended purchases both offline and online. Bookstores have their own personal recommended list, and "top sellers" which are often recommended since they are top sellers.
Wait till the adolecent leet speakers get into this game. They will most likely be male (although I don't know why they would subscribe to it, but each to his or her own). How do you say "My kitty owned you" in leet?
that's not true. Look at Ragnarok Online, there are some illegal servers that are running it right now.
