Yep - You have to install it the same way you installed a bloated OS and a few bloated apps - A word processor (Textor) used to fit on a single 5"1/4 floppy... (darn, I must be old) - However, a Gig is less than $1 today, so, is this really a problem?

This is sad.... Is Slashdot now the safe harbor for wannabe script kiddies who hate M$? Come on, how much you hate M$, they are in for the cash, so respect the fact that they want to check that you paid for what you got - Let me ask you a question; are you the same folks you believe that open source means free (as in beer) software?
Going back to play a fully licensed game on a very horrid OS
I am 41, 3 kids, 3 dogs, 1 cat, and one beautiful wife - My games:
1) half life 1, 2 (waiting for the next sequel)
2) GTA - All versions, dabling into MTA
3) Age of Empires (yep, M$ can make bug free products!)
In 10 years?
The same games and a few more dogs...
Why these games: They are all innovative and are not time sucks (so that I can have a life)
Cheers
The majority of folks who buy an iPaq (me included) do it in order to have a portable version of their main PIM database (i.e., Outlook) - I do not see the advantage... I truly believe that we should stick with pretty-GUI stuff for the desk/palmtop (i.e., Windows) and use the stable stuff (i.e., *nix) in the back end.
Just my views...
I thought that all numbers in the form 2^n -1 are prime - If I am correct, what's so new about this number? -Nicolas

Please - M$ is now so security aware that they publish patches BEFORE the product is available! Hmmm.... What is wrong there?
Or just fly to "Area 51"
If the FCC is gone, who will try to ensure that local loop prices do not go thru the roof once MCI/Verizon and ATT/SBC mergers are finalized?
Has anybody tried XIII (thirteen) - Great 'cartoonish' game -Nicolas
Time out - If you have not paid for a license (i.e., if you are illegally using the software), why do you expect Microsoft to support you?
You insensitive English speaking clod!
Darn, they will now have to learn how to use these old paper maps and CB's instead of their integrated comm systems...
Amazing cell-shaded graphics - cool FPS

I do not think that the DMCA applies in a lot of other countries... So there will be perfectly legal decoders outside of the US -.... Am I dreaming?
