Sega got it right. In Phantasy Star Online, there was no gold farming. In fact, veteran players would usually give away their old weapons, armor, and money to noobs. Why? Because money was too easy to obtain, and item storage was severely limited. Also, there was no way for players to hurt each other. That made people join forces and concentrate on what was actually fun: killing alien monsters!
She says the lawsuits "have outlived most of their usefulness". Okay, that's a start. But when, if ever, will she admit that they were simply morally flawed and a blackmail scheme?
...with QuickTime VR. Well, not the same thing, but at least this one is not a total flop like VRML. Maybe because it makes more sense to view websites in 2D and real life locations in (pseudo-)3D .
Panzer Dragoon Orta won't let me play the Dreamcast Panzer Dragoon game on the disk until I get a certain score, or complete a level in a certain way...
There was never a Dreamcast Panzer Dragoon. The original PD was on the Saturn, and later on Windows. AFAIK, the hidden PD on PDO is the Windows game with minor changes (an easy port, since the Xbox is x86-based).
You're just being nostalgic. The original Zelda has aged poorly, in my opinion. It's not bad, but it's not-yet-quite-right. On the other hand, A Link to the Past did reach the now-it's-right stage, and remains a great game.
What kind of project are you working on? The only description you provided is "Large". That could mean 3D FPS, relational database, mission-critical embedded vision system for an interstellar satellite, a cross-platform OS...
if you play FPSs, RTS, TBS, MMORPGS, or sandbox style western RPGs a console just doesn't hold a candle.
But if you like platformers, shmups, on-rail shooters, fighting, traditional RPGs, sports, racing, dance, party, survival horror --- your best choice is a game console.

...they don't want to hire emos. And if you're on MySpace, you're probably an emo.
Lightman, you just don't learn, do you? Stop hacking the WOPR!

George Broussard is about to make you his bitch. Suck it down.
Finally, a hero badass enough to kill a grue!

From now on, Alex Kidd will be used in law schools.
Yes, you do suck. By the time I got free play in Ikaruga, I could already one-credit it!
If his moves are from Ninja Gaiden, his name should be Jacquio, not Jackie!
These days I only read Gamer's Quarter and The Escapist for well-written in-depth nostalgia, and a bunch of gaming message boards for the news.

...does it run Dapper Drake?
(seriously, Breezy Badger didn't work in any notebook I tried)
Well, Linux and OSX made the command line trendy again!
