I am having a whole lot more fun playing a Simulated MMORPG. You don't have to worry about buying a network adapter or worring about your cable modem. No lag time and no missing/dropped connections. So much more fun than waiting and waiting to do nothing. Ever since I started playing "dot HACK" I have been thoughly enjoying it very much. Why not just have them develop more games like this and when they figure out how to get all the network crap figured out then we can enjoy some real MMORPG's.
I know ther is a lot of heat and what not during re-entry but give the naut's some one time use, high impact ceramic and kevlar suits. Then bail out before re-entry and use something akin to a fire extinguisher for a retro rocket and do an orbital skydive. They have jumped from the edge of space before using very high altitiude ballons (USAF project manhigh). They just need a suit that can stand the heat and viola! Orbital skydiving done easy!
That is what i meant. But I do have to thank you for that wonderful 9imagry of someone running outside with a visor on and getting clothes-lined by a tree branch!
I think it could render things very inpressivly. Imagine a fully rendered MMORPG that uses a the headset visor Sony recently came out with in japan. You could run around and turn your head in real time and render almost lifelike scenes. Especially if they use some programming tech that is in the latest Gran Turismo 3. Watch out, this may become as addictive as a holodeck could theoretically be!
I took a black cat and threw it at a mirror to see if it would take two paths, unfourtunately it broke the mirror (7 years bad luck), bounced off afformentioned broken mirror, knocked over the salt shaker on the kitchen table (more bad luck), crossed my path while running away from (bad luck), I chased it under a ladder as it fled my house (even more bad luck).
Right now i am cowering under my desk with a four leaf clover. And I thought practical physics was safe....
Late thursday 200 miles over Bejing the first Chinese Austonauts in orbit suffered a mishap involving a saftey drill aboard their Shenzhou Spacecraft.
Program manager Mr. Chin Hou stated today that the in flight combustion safety drill ended in tradegy today when the Astonauts in an attempt to perform this manuever opened the pressureized door of their spacecraft and attempted to perform a space walk around the vessel and then return to the confines of their craft.
Mr. Chin Hou later regretted that they hadn't allowed for the fact that when the tests were performed on the ground no one mentioned that there was a vaccum in space. "The Taikonauts in orbit in orbit did not have the nessassary equipment to perform the spacewalk manuever and they suffered from exposure in space as a result," Mr. Chin Hou went on.
The Chinese space agency has reported that they will not schedule any more fire drills aboard their spacecraft until they are equipped for spacewalks and the astonauts are in their suits before such drills are performed in the future.

Another thing could be fragmentation of the regestry files.
Say You add 5MB of information to a 10MB registry files and then remove the 5MB of info from the file. How big is your registry file? 15MB! WTF! Windows doesn't seem to have any function to optimise and defragment/remove unused data from the resistry file. The only thing I have found out there on the net that compresses the registy and defrags it is something called NewSID from wininternals. Of course it was built for another function all together. But changing the SID on a registry ends up doubling it's size because you can never seem to completely remove something from a registry file which is why they had to implement a defrag/remove usless junk routine in the program.
You could try running NewSID and see if that helps, I have seen it fix machines that have abnormally large registries.
Could I just use this paper to wallpaper a room in my house with it?
Imagine my Neighbors envy when i am the first to have a fully working HOLODECK! Now the next challenge is to find a beowolf cluster powerful enough to run an entire room of the stuff! Could you imagine what resolution you would run an entire room sized display with!!!
There is a large school of thought that says Gravity is nothing more than a manifestation of mass. If could be that we are looking in the wrong place when we try to explain gravity.
If gravity is nothing more than a field effect of mass in a 3-D space. Then we can see it's effects, but we would not be able to actually capture or store it like the other forces.
I think they need to create a game based off the simulated MMORPG.HACK/Sign. The Simulated online game is fine, but if it were really online it would be even better. I think they would just need to add voice support so you could actually talk to one another and mabye head display tech when it gets perfected and they would have a game that could rival evercrack!
I tried installing it on a mac with a blank hard drive and the thing refused to install for me!!! Why do the macs have to cause these types of problems.
That MOOSE is one cool piece of equipment!!! Why can't they give that thing a test or two?
I have a friend in Star Wars Galaxy that keeps asking around if anyone has any "Aromatic Grass".
.//Hack Sign connection...yet...
People don't get the

(Just as long as they run the ALTIMIT OS)
Well after the 300th patch it should be somewhat decent.
:)
Anyways... I haven't found the Key of the twilight yet, mabye i am looking in the wrong game
That would be so awesome I would watch that movie!
Of course mabye HAN 9000 could be voiced by Jackie Chan!!!

Anyone for a game of "the world"?
Yeah amazingly they took all the pieces of Discovery and put them back together and it is sitting right now at the Kennedy Space Center...
You probably meant Colombia disaster.....
I'll forgive you this once...
Well, I for one tried something simular.

Oh, Come on..... At least i didn't do another Soviet Russia Joke....
I hope the Chinese Space programs puts a fire under our lazy american asses to get serious about space exploration again.
Wow just imagine, a book as popular as the TIME/LIFE series "do it yourself heart bypass surgery"
In this volue you can genetically change your cat into a hideous creature with fly wings and lobster claws. Lunch anyone?
Hmmmm.... Didn't Firefly foreshadow this? They showed people in space and chinese seemed like a second launguage.....
Something to think about

20 years ago Nuclear Fusion was 20 years away.
Today Nuclear Fusion is 20 years away.
20 years ago we would run out of Oil in 30 years.
Today we will run out of Oil in 50 years.
20 years ago we would have a moon base in 20 years.
Today we will have a moon base in 30 years.
Why can't we ever stick to our predictions:)
Of course make sure all Goa'uld recall devices are removed from the tech first.
I think one would end up halfway to their destination weather it be inside a hutch or floating above an ocean.
Then can i get a tax deduction for working from home?
Could I just use this paper to wallpaper a room in my house with it?

Yeah, but will ther robots have lazer beam eyes and the strength of five gorillas?
