You don't want a dell for gaming, especially not the cheap ones. My friend without asking me for advice first bought a $1200 dell system 2 months ago with a 15" flat panel... and it came with ONBOARD VIDEO, he couldnt even play 3 year old games nicely on the computer, they ran at like 12fps... You DONT Want it, just build a comp yourself, my 3 year old comp plays everything nicely and it cost around $1000 to build.

People really tend to over exagerate the problems with new technologies. By now we should have had multiple nuclear wars, would have extreme shortages of food, would have way too large of a population, would be all dying from pollution, would no thave enough oxygen to breathe from all the trees we cut down, blah blah blah.

Gimme a break folks and do your science.

The probe is already built so its definetly going to be launched. Plus it reaches Pluto around 2015, and the kuiper belt objects around 2016-2020. It's not going to be that long of a wait for the data to come in.

Plus, the scientists working on the Voyager mission would be better off working on the New Horizons Mission imo.

How much heat are these things going to generate though. Because you know E = hf, if you have 100,000 times the frequency, your going to need to throw in 100,000 times the energy!! Of course that is simplification of what is really happening with these kinds of chips and it is much more complicated then just 100,000 times the energy needed. But it seems like these things might make the Pentium IV seems like a fridge!

"Didn't we lose the war in Vietnam?"

You missed the entire point. Yes we lost the vietnam war because the public didn't want it. The US military on the otherhand kicked the Vietcongs ass. Plus my point was that at that time the rest of the world was criticizing the US for participating in the war and accusing US media of censoring the war. But in reality it was because of US media that showed the war first hand to the people of the US that the war was stopped.
