No it isn't off-topic since this small thread of a discussion was about the differences in ratings between the two movies. I, however did not fixate on the male nudity, however I found it funny be it you find it immature or not. I don't really care. I somewhat enjoyed the movie without having read the graphic novel beforehand.
Seeing as I am no longer 13 I could care less whether the movie is PG-13 or R since I base my interest in a movie not on its rating but whether I care to see it or not.
Or you know researching methods to kill someone as recently seen in news reports where forensic computer research showed people researching "undetectable ways to kill someon"
Funny, that you say that. Right before the switch to Time Warner in my Dallas area, we started experiencing down-time up to 3 and 4 days at a time. They would say nothing was wrong, but my parents who lived in Arlington and myself living in Mesquite (about 45 min drive) were experiencing the same problems. After the switch completed, it got even worse, with incorrect billings and the normal 3x weekly phone-calls to complain about the system being down. Every couple of weeks, they would send someone out who would go, nothing wrong on your connection end and nothing would ever come of it and the half a week of down-time would just continue on. When we would finally get connected, it ran as slow as I remember dial-up being.
I finally had them move to AT&T DSL, while I am not a fan of the capable speeds, they didnt need a 6Mb connection as they just check e-mail and get on the internet. It ended up saving them money and headaches. I on the other hand am now an AT&T subscriber, but I am too far away to get higher speeds:(
I have had a nano since they were released and I just came into a small chunk of change. If any of the speculations are true concerning the wifi or even touchscreen.
I will probably hold onto the cash and update my nano to something else. The only thing that would stop me is if it is hard-drive based. I love my lil flash-based ipod.
Ah awesome, I was not aware of those types of adapters! I may have to look into getting one.
I am not what you would call a power-user, I just like have the options available to me for when I get bored at work or elsewhere. I very rarely let it get below 50%, but I know that playing mp3s for 8 hours a day would not work too well at work without sacrificing other features temporarily. (Wish it did though!)
I have an 8525 and this makes me wonder, where do you plug in the headphones on it? I have never seen a headphone jack, unless you mean the Bluetooth headsets Bleh...
Another thing, what about battery? Did you buy the big battery that makes it stick out or what? I am lucky to stay logged into IM+ for longer than an hour and a half before I get low battery warnings.
I would love to use mine for everything, I just wish it had a headphone jack and battery power was better, without having to turn down settings.
I would love for a regular 2D version to come out to play. I played the demo of Sonic the Hedgehog for the 360 and it more than annoyed me. Every time I see a title become available I go to demo it and I feel let down it sucks so bad and it's just not 2D. I don't know that a game that has this jumping and running can be 3D.
Playing the demo I kept falling off a cliff so much that I finally gave up and said, "Well I'm not buying this shit". I'll keep my fingers crossed that somebody decides that it should be released on XBL , because I would buy it.
Seeing this is nice as I have a Samsung HT-P50 which I can plug the ipod into and play back files however the goofy DB that Itunes creates sucks for navigating songs as "UDSDC.mp3" does not tell me much.
On the other hand I wonder how well this would work with my Alpine CDA-9856 as it can hook up to an ipod. Really not a big deal I guess since I can boot it into Ipod firmware at any time though. Would be nice if the Alpine recognized the files to play though!
50% tax on violent video games??? Does this mean that prices of games would effectively double to cover taxes plus profits? If they are actually trying to do this then what about smoking? What percentage is that going to be increased by since that would really rake in the cash with people smoking a pack+ per day.
