So that whole thing about how they care more about security then whether people steal their software was false? Oh, that's a good microsoft tactic. Thank god I never used a microsoft product since I was 10. GG microsoft.
If you think maybe 200 dollars for a peice of actual hardware is bad, they might want to start looking into software like windows trying to sell $1,000 for microsoft windows xp. Atleast you can actually hold the ram in your hand and be like "yeah! I have ram in my hand."
I happen to agree with Carmack. nVidia needs this to boast them back up in the video card industry. none the less i wouldn't buy doom 3 if they supported microsoft by using directx over opengl. they have always used opengl, making it portable to mac's, linux, windows, and another other platform that runs opengl (with minor changes in the code, unlike using directx).
I'm sorry we aren't all filled with the greed to profit through money. I profit through people commenting on software I write. I enjoy a simple "good job". Some people are just generous, why try to convert him to your views on life. I'll continue to help others by sharing everything I have or do.
I had no idea SCO owned the rights to #include.. because they claim they do in most of the files they "claim" are stolen. Good job sco.. darl you suck at life.
Wow.. who really cares? How is this news to us? We didn't make the virus stop telling us every little detail that's going on; we don't care about SCO. Every day I see a post about some worthless SCO news; it is just drawing SCO more media coverage, what they want. I urge/. to stop giving SCO the respect by actually posting there worthless case that will not go anywhere.

So does this mean their going to start giving people money to use kazaa rather then suing them? Haven't they been telling the RIAA that file sharing is actually boosting revenue rather then taking away from it?
I can honestly say my 200 dollar processor has nothing to do with my pirated version of windows.
Software developers die every day believe it or not.
[sarcasm] Wow, what an accomplishment. He must have a life too. [/sarcasm]

We should be the ones spying on our government. They are the evil ones trying to take over the world!

Wow, your grammar skills blow my mind.
Drugs, sex, and god are the most dangerous passwords.
Where's the linux version. /. is posting windows programs?!
So? He also said ..
"640K ought to be enough for anybody."

Maybe just SlashSCO will be fine. All this law stuff bores me.
Not very likely that "SCO will take on SUN also." SUN has been a loyal customer to SCO. SUN has and continues to renew its licenses with SCO.

My three cents.
Is there a way to block out certain /. articles? I need to block out anything in refrence to SCO or starwars.. it is starting to get annoying as hell.

This is like coke-a-cola suing pepsi drinkers because they are drinking something that tastes like their product.
I laughed.. so it wasn't an attempt, it works. Good job ignore people like him.

Why would slashdot even bother posting this? This is the best virus of all times.. don't try to spoil it..
First linux needs more standards.
Why is 2.4 gone from kernel.org?

Give it a month.. Hehe don't kid yourself I'm sure microsoft just is too lazy to patch stuff now so they "look" more secure then ever =)
