The brown is most likely dirt being stirred up from the ocean floor. If you have ever seen a boat docking or setting sail, the water does that as well around the turbines.
Well, think about it this way. Because he was an eyewitness, his opinion is suddenly more publically recognized than others. The fact that people subscribe to his thoughts doesn't mean his opinion is any greater than yours, or mine, or anyone elses, it just means more people know about them.
I personally don't think experts are allowed to discuss this concept anymore than we are. Hell, teenagers in the state-of-mind that the shooters were in should be the only ones allowed to truly discuss it if you want to get technical. An expert is just a person who is well studied in the matter, but it doesn't mean they are right. I'm sure someone will dispute what I just said, but remember, it's just my opinion, which is no more important that Mr. Brooks Brown.
Now, instead of having to do damage control with 65 parents, the fight is now public. Now everyone will go to the site and read about what parents are saying about them, and that just makes this fight uglier for them!
I hope they fix those annoying styles in MX04. I have to use MX04 at work, and I opened up a page in code view to fix a font tag that just refused to work. I ended up deleting about 15 pages of open and close tags that served no purpose.
Plus, the fact that I have to open the code view almost daily to make my fonts actually conform to what I want, verse what MX04 wants, is annoying. When I do personal projects, I use MX03. I never have to deal with the buggy style usage, and my projects are done so much faster.
what he may lack in grammer, you lack in spelling.
It's "decent" not "decient".
At least your consistent.
Back on topic, I would say to just filter all the openings in the case, and make sure you have decent fans in the system so it doesn't overheat. Just make sure you clean the filters often, otherwise they will get clogged and make the fans useless.
I skimmed the article, and I noticed they didn't show any graphs from Nvidia based cards, just ATi. I also read it where they said that they couldn't get their hands on the Nvidia cards in time for the test. What im wondering is why they end up with your only option is an expensive card and a Socket 754 processor as the "best" option. I'm running HL2 just fine, I only got lag when the map loads ended, and from then on I never saw a bit of skipping.
I'm running on a +2800 AMD Barton with a 6800 and 512MB RAM. I get 50-70fps with 4x Anti Aliasing, 8x filtering and all my settings at either high or medium. I don't think I'd consider this a fair article. TO quote them "An AMD Sempron 3100+, paired with a ATI X800 Pro videocard and a nForce3-250 motherboard offers all the performance you need to get started."
My chip and video card cost over $100 less than their setup and it runs the game beautifully.
I'd advise not paying much attention to this article.
It seems to me that you don't know how this beta works.
They released CS:S beta to the CS:CZ, Cyber Cafes, and Those with HL2 vouchers. The beta is not permanent, and as soon as it ends, the players who are in possession of it right now will no longer be able to play.
AFTER the beta testing is finished, they will allow CS:S to be played AFTER purchasing Half-Life 2. Nobody will be allowed to play the game unless the purchase it after it goes retail, if it does, or if they purchase HL2. This isn't an update that cost money. It's simply Valve's way of rewarding their recent customers while testing a game.
I'm guessing your talking about a dedicated backbone wirelessly. If it was designed like a big hub, could you imagine the file sharing and intranet hacking? It would be a fun little time.
In my past experiences video games should be comsidered art. If you look at Half-Life 2, it took them 5 years to get where they are today, and it shows because of how great the game appears to be.
Working for so long on something only to have it judged by standards created when Pong was God is not humane on the part of the developers. The process that games have to go through to get review need to be changed.
You mean "grammar" right? Of course you do. ^_^

Well, that's a brilliant idea by them.

yea, it's called Condition Zero.
I personally think this would be very helpful for those who only have voIP at home.

Or maybe he didn't care, since he said in the code part that he would try to figure out how to post his code when he figures out how.
It's still kind of cool nonetheless.

Your right! Nobody has done one yet!
