Go to something like directnic.com, get your domain for $15/yr and get mail forwarding included (including wildcard)!
Why are you advertising directnic.com? In this age of domain registrar competition, $15 is expensive. domainsite.com is less than half the price ($6.99/year). Run your own nameservers and mail server, or get it hosted for about $10/year from any number of shared web hosts.
On the way to the theater Peter Parker intercepts policeman chasing a couple of bad guys. At the end of that scene one of the police cars has a tremendous wreck that swings the car sideways. There is a clear shot of the driver with a black helmet on.
you didnt know cops in new york always wear helmets?
WTH? This is like dual-booting without the booting. You're still using Windows and you're still tempted to use those "wonderful programs like Outlook".
Are you saying the blue screen of death doesn't happen on Windows 2k?
Far from it! I've used Windows NT, 2000, and XP, and the BSOD is alive and well. It doesn't happen nearly as often, but it still crashes you here and there with KMODE_EXCEPTIONs and whatnot.
What I did was simply buy and read a C++ programming book, the same way many C++ programmers learned C++. The only difference is that with my knowledge of Java, I was able to skip (or quickly review) the parts of C++ that are similar to Java (and there are quite a few). The rest I learned like any other person. Knowing Java just helps you to pick up the same stuff faster.
Are you saying the deficit is bad? Baloney. That's the media for you - they do anything for a big story.
On average, the Clinton deficits over the first three years of that administration were much larger than Bush's. The 2004 deficit, adjusted for inflation, is ranked 12th since 1940. The 2004 deficit, as a percent of GDP, is ranked 21st since 1940.
The media has compared a forecast of surpluses that was calculated while Clinton was president to a forecast of deficits which is being calculated now that Bush is president. However, in the real world, we find that the Bush deficits, when compared in inflation-adjusted terms, are relatively mild. And more importantly, since these deficits are being criticized because of their alleged effect on the overall American economy, when the deficits are presented as a percentage of GDP they are very small. For instance, the projected 2004 deficit as a proportion of GDP is 90% lower than FDR's deficit in the year 1943.
the exam was easier than i expected. it was multiple choice and short answer. a majority of the multiple choice questions were about java, but there were a couple more general ones, such as converting hexadecimal to decimal. the short answer, or written part of the exam was worth half the grade and was all about writing java code. however, it was fairly simple classes and methods, mainly about using for loops and arrays. there was also adding on to the MBS (marine biology case study) program. they included a ~30 page appendix with method definitions and much of the source code from MBS classes - a lot more than you need. nothing needed to be memorized; you could do it with basic programming logic and the reference book which we were allowed to use during the test.
Yup, the Portable FireFox package has it all set to go, including disabled browser history and cache to minimize impact to your USB key.

I don't see a correlation between Network Solutions' Traffic Ranking and Alexa Ranks.
Slashdot is ranked 1,270 on Alexa and has a Traffic Rank of 1 on whois. That makes sense.
gizmobytes.com has a Traffic Rank of 2. That's pretty good for a site which is ranked 968,786 on Alexa!
sizzly.com is ranked 854,289 on Alexa, but has a Traffic Ranking of 5 -- quite a bit lower than gizmobytes.com, if a lower number is better.
Google Groups beta has been around for well over two months. Slashdot even reported on it at one point.
You didn't mention AMD. You put Motorola and VIA in there, but lumped AMD into "others". Why?
I suggest partnering with Google and displaying their text advertisements (AdSense/AdWords)

I'm surprised that computers with DVD burners themselves haven't squeezed DVD recorder prices.
Ha, and the URL is sco.com/?sco=litigious+bastards too.
The Gmail equivalent to folders are labels. Conversations is something else - a way of organizing subsequent replies to messages.

How will cable internet providers respond? But I suppose they're still king at farther distances. Are cable lines maxed out with ~8mpbs service?
Looks like they broke it, though.. isn't there a new version?
Clear skies and 90 degrees Fahrenheit. Darn, wish I was on the East Coast.
Downloading at 200kpbs. Thanks dude.

In that case, they will be both one and the same.
Imation SuperDisk. 120 megs.

Leo left and then came back. Any publicity is good publicity, right?
Including Google Gmail?

Actually, no. Google has said that beta accounts are permanent and will not be deleted.
