In 8 years at 10 a month you hit the limit. So it's not really useful for anyone wanting to share. Depends if you think there is value in the free users - they may not pay but they are traffic, which means ad revenue.
Google Photos is a much more suitable option for low photo / month users. You'd have to be a real "pro" to really justify $50 for the storage - so actually the other benefits to Pro are still the main selling point.

So to me Android+GMail+Google+Chrome isn't too much bundling and FBook (vs G+) and Spotify (vsGoogle Music) and iplayer/netflix/amazon (vs Google video) work perfectly fine - which is more than can be said about Amazon or Apple equivalents.
In summary Chrome stands out as the odd thing - it's what did it for Microsoft (OS + Browser) and Google already offer Chromium to the community.

There's not "fix" - it's not an inherent flaw, it's in the design.
The modern diesel engines drip feed a small amount of oil into the fuel. The manufacturers translate this into a max oil use expected (presumably based on a large number of short journeys). In reality it's much lower - my Audi A5 goes from Max to half way to Min in the 20,000 miles between services. About 1/2 UK pint.
My Honda Civic diesel used 1 pint in the same time. Both are well below the manufacturers tolerance.
You've misunderstood the difference between doubting a theory and doubting an observable. Walking off a cliff would be stupid, it it clearly observed that things fall. On the other hand doubting that the reason is due to the attraction of masses, perhaps in favour of some alternative source of the force, does not lead to such stupid mistakes.

On the other hand Google is a strong proponent of HTML5 + VP8, which would replace Flash in some situations.
Google seems to be the master of sitting on the fence. I mean they back the biggest competitor to the iPhone (Android) and yet remain #1 search engine on the iPhone/pad/pod.
I just tried it. Inkscape imported the PDF I made in it. It contained text, vectors and bitmaps and it loaded them fine. Perhaps you should file a bug for your particular case. Or are you just a freeloader - using open source software without contributing any effort, even as far as bug reporting.
If it's physical theft I would think they would bin the HDD or sell it "as is" without even looking at what's on it. Bricking it doesn't do a lot, you'd probably just replace the HDD anyway.
Identity theft is more worrying. Why not encrypt the HDD with something like Fedora / Ubuntu offers - ie an encrypted/home or MyDocuments. That way the laptop won't log on for the thief.
