    how about no ONE editor can publish a story but requires a second editor to approve the first approval?
    Doesn't kuro5hin let users moderate stories? Sorry, don't mean to sound like a troll... but it seemed like a good idea. I've been wondering why it hasn't been implemented on Slashdot.

    Next time a cop asks you for your ID - and they ask people to show ID *ALL THE FREAKIN TIME* - tell him/her you don't have to give them your ID because the Supreme Court says you don't.

    With the system of checks and balances that in place the idea/concept of such a totalitarian regime coming into power is laughable.
    The checks and balances system doesn't work if all the branches of the government are corrupt.
    Here we have a private citizen who simply wanted to make a stupid point who is blowing everything completely out of proportion. (It turns out he could fly if he submitted to a search instead of producing ID.)
    I don't want to do either of those.

    I had one of these (PC-MM10) for a while. I was actually running the Linux-Laptops site for it, until my DSL went down. *grunt*

    Linux ran on it pretty well. No real problems, except you had to use a certain version of the ALSA sound drivers (or your screen would explode into lots of pretty colours and hang your machine), and something else I don't quite remember. I think that ACPI support in Linux was pretty crappy when I had it or something.

    Then I got drunk and stepped on it. Oh, well.

    Most of my spam is rejected by one of the DNSBLs
    Out of curiousity, what blacklists do you use? I'm using ORDB and SpamCop right now, and testing DNSRBL on one of the mailservers. Probably 90-95% of inbound mail gets blocked.
    But hey, I'm not going to complain. I average about one piece of spam every five days or so.

    216
    SpamAssassin/ClamAV over maybe 2-3-4 days. And that's just stuff it picked up -- false negatives and such still get through.
