If your account doesn't have admin priveleges, you can't drag things into the "Applications" folder. An excellent reason for programs to have installers, which can ask you for an admin user name and password.
Well, it won't. But the original topic was about dentists with "bad teeth," and I'd expect the poster did not mean that the dentist was getting his teeth knocked out. Your friends are probably relatively young so they are not yet having their teeth fall out due to gum disease.
With good hygeine you will never need a root canal.
In fact, if you take good care of your teeth and you have a good hygeinist clean them regularly, your dentist should never have to do anything but examine your teeth,
I'm a sophmore in CS, and I can't imagine ending up like that, given that my different profs disagree on so many things. A lot of the work is just learning how to do things the "right" way for one class, even if it contradicts what you have been taught. Overall it's really left to the students to decide what's "right," after experiencing different teachers' methods.
Why does a printer need a carrying handle? How often do you move a printer?
Umm, well, let's see, if you read the article you'll see you can print directly from a digital camera card or a smart phone. You could take it anywhere, and not have to have to bring a laptop or anything.
Wow. The Computer Science/Software Engineering program at my school requires 15 comp sci courses, 6 math courses, and 3 physics courses. The Computer Engineering program is actually a specialization within EE, requires and 4 comp sci courses, 12 EE courses, 8 math classes, 3 physics, and one mechanical engineering. So on the whole, only about 2/3 of the classes overlap. And of course, add up the credits in these degree programs and you will get 175 to 185 credits required, out of the 180 credits required for graduation.
My parents have an LCIII running MacOS 7.1. I love it. Hate their newer computer (beige G3 that has killed a hard drive, 2 cd drives, and a floppy drive). It does have the random lockup issue, but aside from that it runs wonderfully even after 10 years.
"To write your iDVD project to a DVD-R disc, you need a certain amount of free disk space on your hard disk. For example, if the movies in your iDVD project take up 12 gigabytes (GB) of space (approximately one hour of video in DV format), you need an additional 4.7 GB of space to store the encoded DVD files."
Yes, that's 12gb. So I hope you were planning on transferring those files over ethernet, not over the internet or on CDs. By the way, if your desktop doesn't have a DVD-ROM it came out before 2000 and came standard with a maximum 36gb hard drive. Not sure how many projects you could store on that thing...
I'm using a Microsoft IntelliMouse Explorer with my Mac. With Microsoft's mouse settings preference panel you can set each button to any of a number of actions including undo, cut, copy, or paste.
So yes, Mac has that capability if you use 3rd party hardware and software.
Bob, a Texas cattle rancher, is getting old, and he wants to leave the ranch to his four sons. He gets sick, and calls them to his bedside to tell them: "You boys can have the ranch as long as you think up a good name. No sense in calling it Bob's Ranch when I'm gone." His sons leave, and spend days discussing the problem. Finally they return to their father's bedside and hand him a piece of paper. He reads it, smiles, and dies. What did it say?
"Focus: where mourning sons raise meat."
Don't get it? Say it out loud.
I also saw the trailer before Revolutions. I hadn't heard of the movie coming out, nowhere was Philip K. Dick mentioned, but I recognized the story. It definitely might turn out a good movie.
Ummm... I WAS trying to be sarcastic.
The point is, the jobs that immigrants are "taking" are not jobs that anyone who grew up with "grand dreams of fulfillment" would want to do. So while it may be true overall that they are taking over part of the labor force in the U.S, peoples' personal indignation about immigrants taking "their" jobs is unwarranted.
Unlimited immigration might make our country poorer but we would be living a little more equally with the rest of the world, not living on the backs of millions of people in third world countries who do our dirty work for cheap.
I know exactly what you mean. As a child I all I wanted to do when I grew up was wash dishes. But those Mexican immigrants took all the jobs and I had to go to college...
Try another roguelike game that is less randomly wierd. I recommend Angband or one of its variants. I'm a total addict. Yesterday my favorite character died, one i had been working on for five months. Mostly my own stupidity. I almost cried:(
Was anyone else put off by the comment that they might market this substitute as a fertility aid (due to a study showing it increased fertility in rats)? Somehow I think there are a lot more women in the world who don't want to get pregnant than women trying to get pregnant.

T.o.M.E is my favorite roguelike.
Actually they supported beige G3s until 10.3 (Panther).

Owning a copy of a CD gives you the right to listen to it. You do not necessarily have the right to broadcast a copyrighted work without paying extra.

"We're only transferring money from a poor people in rich countries to rich people in poor countries."
Too true.
